The hotel was fantastic, great location and despite being next to the main shopping area was very quiet in the hotel itself. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend the hotel.

This hotel is one of the finest I have ever stayed in in 45 years of extensive travelling for both business and leisure. The beautiful property, attitude and attention to detail of every staff member we encountered are absolutely top class. Perfectly located for everything you need in the centre of Valetta, I cannot recommend the property highly enough.

Stayed here for four nights on our mini honeymoon. The hotel benefits from a perfect location for exploring Valletta and the island. At the top of Republic Street and next to the bombed out Opera house it’s an easy place to find, and the bus station is only a 5 minute walk away. Set in a magnificent restored baroque building, public areas are finely decorated with many interesting artefacts and pictures (even the conference room!) They haven’t forgot about modern amenities though, the air con is a welcome chilled wall when you walk in from the heat of the Maltese summer. There’s a lift too, if you don’t want to use the well carpeted wide staircases. We had opted for a suite #23, and it didn’t disappoint. Set on 2 levels, a comfortable sitting room complete with vintage furniture and a full bathroom downstairs. Upstairs a large bedroom with a huge comfortable bed and another bigger full bathroom. Both bathrooms had rain style showers but no bath, premium toiletries, and the towels were big and very fluffy. There’s plenty of storage upstairs and down, and a tv in both rooms too.Two large carafes of mineral water were refilled daily, only thing missing was fresh milk in the fridge. Separate air con units upstairs and downstairs keep things cool. The roof top terrace is a fantastic place to watch the hustle and bustle of Republic Street down below. Breakfast was very good, decent range and well cooked. Service was impeccable and friendly. Highly recommended.

Domus Zamittello is a splendid hotel formed out of an historic Maltese noble palace. It is perfectly situated in the heart of Valletta, with easy walking to most of the city, including the Cathedral, art galleries, museums, shops, buses, ferry, The greatest attribute is the entire staff at this hotel because I found them to be always helpful, kind and cheerful. I enjoyed every day of the 14 day holiday at such a marvellous hotel,

An amazing hotel! I cannot recommend it enough. The service was incredible and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The suite was beautiful, with a huge bed and lovely bathroom.

The Domus Zamittello is an exceptional hotel. Everything is just right from the quality of the hotel itself, the location and the people who work there. Each and every one of their staff all work extremely hard to make their guests stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Malta is a wonderful place to visit and the Domus Zamittello is the perfect place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at Domus Zamittello. The hotel is gorgeous with historical features as we like it (amazing terrasse!). It is extremely well located, right in the main street of Valletta. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very good.

The hotel is charming and has been a family business for hundreds of years. The staff goes above and beyond excellence. I asked if they would get me a cab for the next morning’s 5 am flight. Not only did they, but also the chef made me a sandwich and the night clerk rolled my luggage several blocks to meet the cab

Fantastic hotel, definitely worth the money for the service you get from the staff. Each morning at breakfast, the Manager, or a staff member assist you on ideas to do that day! Our room was upgraded to a room with 2 bathrooms & the bedroom upstairs (may not be good for people with mobility issues) TV had a good amount of English shows. Situated in the heart of Valletta. Bottle of wine was a nice touch - oh also rooftop terrace was great, especially if there’s a concert next door to eavesdrop on

Very charming 21 room boutique hotel in an historical building. The location just inside the City Gate was easy walking distance to all the sites. The room and amenities were up to date, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Maria who not only called a taxi but walked us and our luggage in the rain to the meeting spot outside the pedestrian area. If you want a personalized, small hotel experience in the old part of the city, I highly recommend Domus Zamittello.

Excellent location in middle of Valletta. However, since the hotel is in a pedestrian only zone, be prepared to drag your baggage for about 1200 ft or so

Great location , on one of the main pedestrianised streets that runs the length of Valleta . Close to the bus station and taxi rank and easily accesable to all the main attractions including cafes,bars and restaurants . This boutique hotel has been sympathetically restored from the original 17th centuary palazzo retaining many of its original features icluding the central courtyard .
