Village Center Two Bedroom Residence is located in the heart of Vail Village next to the International Bridge. These residences are not in The Lodge at Vail itself. We were given a small room although we payed for luxury. The room was at the very end of the hallway with > 20 stairs to climb. Difficult for luggage. Water in one of two sinks in the room did not work and no repair was done after reporting. After hours the outside access to the room with the room key is not available; however we were not told that and therefore, unfortunately, we locked ourselves out. Breakfast buffet had very limited availability of food, despite paying 38$ per person for breakfast. One of the kitchen managers was quite sarcastic and unfriendly when asked why there is so unusually poor buffet supply. The valet car service had us 30 min to wait before picking us up from skiing area. Unfriendly concierge when asking why such a delay. I also tried to have concierge make reservations for us in the restaurants - the concierge leaves at 5 pm and is not available till next morning.

Everything was exactly how we imagined. Staff was amazing .. Tavlyn was great helping with all our activities and transportation to and from places. The restaurants on site were delish. Location was perfect as well. Walking distance to everything.

The Lodge At Vail is in a great location for use of the mountain and access to the slopes. The staff there was wonderful and the spa is fantastic. The facilities are a little dated and they were malfunctions with heat and lighting that they tried to fix and did compensate us for but Are probably related to the age of the facility.

Place has seen better days, still charge Premium prices, 50.00 resort fee is stupid At 1.00 a day charge for the national Forest? Rooms are dated , tub would clog Heat in room erratic. The location is Great location but that is something they Don’t have to maintain.

The staff here is incredibly kind. They have a ski valet that is at the base of gondola one making it easy to come and go. Walkable to everything in Vail Village.

Best location in Vail Village!
We decided to come back to ski Vail for the first time in a decade. We chose the Lodge at Vail due to location and availability and we hit the jackpot. The hotel staff is service first! Started off 100% by taking our ski's from our truck to the base of the mountain ski valet, our boots to the boot room and our luggage to our room. We were less than 50 yards to the gondola and it was amazing to be so close. Check in was personable and quick. The room was beautiful, comfortable and the bathroom large with a tub and private toilet room. The housekeeping was fantastic. We booked services at the spa, used the steam, sauna and hot tub as well as used the pool and hot tub outside. * Please no kids in the hot tubs. Wasn't horrible but hard to relax! They have the whole big pool and it was warm! (women's locker room spa hot tub was my go to after that) We will be staying there again because of the great staff, comfortable accommodations and the proximity to the gondola, shopping and restaurants. Thank you to your staff for making our first stay with you so fantastic. We will see you again soon.

Amazing hotel, located right in the heart of Vail
Amazing hotel, located right in the heart of Vail Village. Staff were so polite and helpful. Our room was so comfy and cosy and had an amazing view. It had everything we needed, including a humidifier and great complimentary snacks. We had a little balcony, the beds were great, the rooms quiet and great a/c. The property was beautifully decorated for Christmas and cocoa, cider and cookies were available in the lobby every afternoon, which was a lovely touch. It has two restaurants and the hot tub and pool area is amazing, complete with fire pits. The self-service laundry was also so useful and very affordable. City Market and other options are 7 mins away by car in West Vail.

Everyone was very kind. Especially the gentleman in reception at 5am on Thursday who went above and beyond. He wore a bengals jersey. Ten golden stars for him. However. A young lady in reception Wednesday night was rude and did not offer any help. This one person tarnished the overall rating.
