I was very disappointed that i booked a room for 2 but only 1 breakfast was included. Also i was told that they don't cater for vegetarians. This is shocking.

Good location

Pros: Location, comfortable bed, great shower, friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: Nothing. The Ibis is not a luxurious hotel, however it was clean, quiet and met our expectations as a 3 star hotel.

Location: Quiet location, two kilometres from the centre of Utrecht. Great shopping and sight seeing. We enjoyed a leisurely boat trip and lunch by the water.

We spent two nights at the Ibis in Utrecht. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but a very comfortable bed and a great shower! The hotel itself is located approximately 2 kilometres from the centre. The location was quiet as was the hotel. The hotel also offered a car park which was important to us as we were travelling by car with bikes. We walked into the centre from the hotel which took about 45 minutes but it is a lovely walk and the centre of Utrecht is well worth a visit from both a shopping and sight seeing perspective. We didn't dine at the hotel, preferring to dine out (you will be spoilt for choice) in the town but we enjoyed a good breakfast both mornings. There was a reasonable choice of different foods for breakfast offered (I particularly enjoyed the lovely rolls). We would certainly be happy to stay there again should we find ourselves going to Utrecht.
