I can imagine the property itself is like many other small cave hotels in the area – it’s cosy, intimate, and pretty nicely decorated. But the real deal-maker, in this case, was the wonderful host and manager who went out of his way to make sure my parents and I felt taken care of and had the best two days in Cappadocia.
Considering we were on a tight schedule, he offered himself as a guide and driver (at an incredibly nominal rate) to show us around multiple hand-picked sites we were interested in, attended to each of our specific interests/needs along the way, and flexibly attended to our most minute requests. He was so caring and wonderful that we might have mentioned it was my father’s birthday the day we were leaving, and he brought him a little cake to celebrate the night before. It’s small moments like these that make the memories in some places more wonderful than others. Also, the breakfast was incredible — fresh, fully organic, and delicious!
