Stonebarn is a magnificent eight suite, luxury lodge built from local natural stone and Jarrah wood, with striking architectural features and elegant interiors encompassing the warmth and intimacy of a truly iconic luxury retreat. Located in between Manjimup and Pemberton, it offers private and secluded accommodation on the 160 acres estate, surrounded by panoramic views of Karri forest, kilometres of river frontage, dams and marked hiking walks around the property.
Paris-based Australian architect, Aviva F Silbert, designed the stone lodge to capture the essence of refinement and comfort. Its tranquil natural surroundings, forest trails and secluded location make it a unique, remote destination to get together with family and friends to make special memories.
Handcrafted with local stone and timber, Stonebarn can sleep up to 18 people in 8 bedrooms. It comprises 6 luxurious suites upstairs and 2 double ensuite bedrooms downstairs (2 additional trundle beds can also be added to any of the upstairs rooms). Each upstairs suite is 50 square metres with en-suite bathrooms, clawfoot baths, glass showers and sunken french double basins with separate toilets. There is also a kitchenette in each upstairs suite consisting of a sink, fridge and microwave. Rooms feature four-poster, king-size beds and small balconies overlooking the dam, truffiere, river and forest.

There is a bathroom with a shower and toilet on the ground level next to the kitchen.
There is also a separate toilet on the ground level next to the dining room.
Linen and towels are provided and laundered. We also have a clothes dryer in the laundry next to the working shed.
Stonebarn has a fully-equipped, Chef’s kitchen with stainless steel benches for food preparation, commercial dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, a wood-fired oven and BBQ. There is a long, narrow breakfast table in the kitchen which can seat 16, extra chairs are available if 18 people are staying. There are also two sets of outdoor dining tables and accompanying chairs in the BBQ area undercover.
Next to the kitchen is a living area with two brown leather sofas and a TV. This leads through to a library where you can relax in a large lounging couch, put your feet up and read a good book or the kids can play games. Next is another living area with two black leather sofas and a reclining armchair. At the end of the building on the ground floor is the grand dining room with a 12 seater wooden dining table and 12 chairs. There is also a 1.8m round table with 6 dining chairs and a wine bar on wheels. All these ground floor rooms overlook the dam, truffiere, river and forest. The verandah runs the length of the lodge, overlooking the dam and forest, shaded by a grape vine canopy with views to the truffiere and river. Enjoy a glass of wine while the sun sets over the trees and the dam and stay out longer to enjoy the night sky, perfect for stargazing.
There is ample onsite parking for guests with two separate Tesla charging points.
The property is bounded by magnificent treescapes and an abundance of native flora and fauna with direct access to many beautiful walking trails. Some of the region's most famous vineyards - Pemberley Wines, Below & Above, Picardy and Ampersand Estates to name a few, are virtually on the doorstep. Stonebarn is also located near other popular attractions like the Southern Forests Chocolate Company, Pemberton Honey, Aerial Adventure Pemberton, Big Brook Dam and Karri Valley Rest. - Please be advised that Stonebarn is a truffle farm and workers will be working in the sheds or on the grounds Monday - Friday. Guests are not permitted to enter the sheds.
