Ulverston has festivals throughout the year and is conveniently located for easy reach of Newby bridge and the southerly tip of Lake Windermere where you may take the lake cruises or hop on the steam train at Haverthwaite .This excellent accommodation is in an ideal  location to explore not only the Lake district park but also the coast too .
