Old building but nice location and service
The hotel is in a good location to walk to the center area. The roo was OK but the hotel looks a bit old. Have a disco, a coffee and a bar, quite convenient if you don't want to move around too much. Nothing bad to say. I would book again.

A very nice hotel with everyting you could ask for
Nice, clean hotel with an excellent included breakfast. I have now stayed in this hotel 2 times and I would like to stay here again in Udon Thani.

Very old hotel, aircon leaking and shut down on its own every night. Complained and nothing was done. Bed was uncomfortable and very hard. Breakfast selections wwas inadequate and same everyday we were there. Staff in the restaurant were not polite and do not look interested in their job. Will not stay in this hotel again.

The Staff and employees were very friendly and courteous. Room was very clean. Very nice and quiet. Staff assisted me in obtaining a car rental when all other agencies were fully booked. I will stay here again.

Hotel is dated and basic
Everything about this hotel is very dated and basic. The room was large but the bed was not very comfortable. There is a pool, facing the main road; the grounds could have used a little attention. Like many hotels it had really suffered from low bookings due to Covid and the place was a bit sad. Reception staff were helpful and very polite. Food in restaurant (we only had breakfast) was mediocre.

Great location- some rooms have been upgraded and others seem to be 30 years behind the times. I got one such room after our modern room had a broken AC unit. The new room we received had no outlets that could charge an I Phone- they did supply us with a long extension cord later. Breakfast was included, but the options were very few and rather plain and simple.

Worth it.
Rooms have been updated and look new despite the hotel being 50 years old (I think). Buffet breakfast (Included) was good enough. Good location near shopping and entertainment areas. Has a disco on site attended by many people other than guests. Room did not have a noise problem.

Lukewarm water
The hot water in the bathroom is only lukewarm and this is the same every time I stay in the hotel.Other than that I always enjoy staying in the Charoen.
