I had a great 3 day stay - the Pousada location is right on the beach. Very friendly staff. The restaurant is also very good - one of the best breakfast buffets in Brazil!

Great place to disconnect from the city life
I arrived to Pousada Kaliman Ubatuba later than I expected. As I was driving, it would have been great to know that the hotel is within a private neighborhood and there are several roadworks before reaching the hotel. The personnel at the reception was very nice and check-in was quite fast. Unfortunately, when I arrived the restaurant was closed and no options are available nearby. The next morning, it was very rewarding having breakfast enjoying the ocean view. Really uplifted my mood. You can walk along the beachside (which is very rewarding) but I would not recommend to think about exploring the town as it is not much around. It is a great option if you want to disconnect from the city life. During the night you can hear the waves, which is really relaxing.

Great beach stay
Pousada Kaliman was a great stay for a few days at the beach. The rooms were nice and the restaurant was excellent for the breakfast buffett and they had great options for lunch and dinner. You can also order food and drinks from the beach chairs. The location can be a bit hard to find - the hotel is not directly off the road - you need to turn into the gated area for the neighborhood first which has several pousadas and homes - then use the GPS address to find the Pousada. The beach is named Praia do Sape - nice sand and some good waves. The staff were all very friendly at the hotel.

Relaxar à beira-mar.
Pousada super agradável, pé na areia, muito confortável, equipe muito atenciosa. Precinho bem salgado no restaurante, sem muita variedade de pratos, vale mais à pena comer fora. Afastado do centro de Ubatuba ou Caraguá, mas tem vários "centrinhos" no meio do caminho de ambas pra quem quiser explorar a região de carro. Super indico para quem quiser relaxar, curtindo uma praia tranquila e segura, com uns tira-gostos e cervejinha, é bem agradável. Mas se quiser bater perna nas cidades, ou for de transporte público (chegando via rodoviária e dependendo de uber, melhor escolher outro lugar.
