Looking for that special, family retreat on the coast? We are thrilled to offer this lovely 4-bedroom period holiday home, opposite the picturesque Dysynni Valley and just a short walk to Tywyn Beach and the Town.

Idris View in Tywyn is newly refurbished to a high standard presented with contemporary styling, but retaining many original features, including Victorian cast-iron fireplaces in all the bedrooms, and an original feature staircase. Stylish kitchen/diner, full central heating, rear garden with BBQ, a wood-burner in the sitting room, and FREE WiFi of course!

ACCOMMODATION

DOWNSTAIRS

Entering from the front/road into a lovely period hallway with porch, handy for leaving coats and walking boots. The hallway is fully tiled right the way through into the kitchen. The sitting room is on the left with the kitchen/diner to the rear.
Kitchen/Dining Room:

With patio doors to the side, leading out to the terrace and rear garden.

The big chunky oak table can sit 8/10.

The kitchen certainly has the WOW factor with an archway that leads from the dining area into this contemporary oak finished kitchen with ‘granite look' worktops, it has everything you would expect in a hi-spec, holiday home kitchen.

Sitting Room:
A gorgeous, spacious and bright ‘through' sitting room with grey carpeted floor, the focal point being a slate hearth and wood burner to huddle round on chilly nights!. Big bay window with fitted seating, enjoying lovely views toward Bird Rock and Cadair Idris over the Dysynni Valley. Plush modern grey leather & fabric seating, all matching, 2 x 3-seater, and 2 x armchairs. A large flat screen SMART TV and occasional tables.

UPSTAIRS

The original stairway is a fabulous feature of this lovely home. The stairways are newly carpeted, and bedrooms have ‘driftwood style' laminate flooring and rugs.
All the bedding is brand new with mattress toppers, mattresses & pillow protectors on all the beds.

1st FLOOR:

Family Bathroom:
Gorgeous roll-top white bath with mixer taps and hand-held attachment, separate shower cubicle with a bar mixer shower. WC and Victorian-style wash hand basin. White tongue-n-groove wall paneling and a chrome towel rail.
Separate WC on the landing.

Bedroom ONE rear – sleeps 3:
With double & single above bunk-bed, double wardrobe. Windows with views over the garden.

Bedroom TWO front– sleeps 2:
With double bed, 2 bedside tables, 2 x double wardrobes with shelves. 5 drawer chest of draws, original Victorian fireplace, Smart TV. Windows with spectacular views.

ATTIC FLOOR:

Bedroom THREE rear – sleeps 2:
With double bed, 1 bedside table, 1 x double wardrobe with shelves, Smart TV. Velux windows.

Bedroom FOUR front– sleeps 4:
With double & single above bunk bed, separate single bed, double wardrobes with shelves. 2 X 3 drawer chest of draws, original Victorian fireplace, Smart TV, Velux windows with spectacular views.

Family Shower room:
Fully tiled, with a built-in shower, WC and pedestal wash hand basin. Velux window.

OUTSIDE

Enclosed Garden and Slate terrace:
From the rear of the property, you access a small yard with the enclosed West-facing garden opposite. There is a spacious area and relax with a slate patio and seating. Dine Al Fresco, soak up the sun, or take a short walk to Tywyn Beach to enjoy the fabulous sea views over the Welsh Coast. Don't miss the amazing sunsets that the West Coast has to offer!

Parking & access:
The house has on-road parking outside (no restrictions) and there is additional parking available in the town just a 2 min walk. The house is accessed via a couple of steps up to the front door. The steps are not particularly steep, fine for any reasonably mobile/active person.
