Simply perfect!
I cannot overstate how wonderful this place is! Once you climb the stairs to the totally private apartment over the carriage house you are in a gorgeous place with pleasant, expansive views in every direction of the historic residential area where it’s located, as well as a couple of stained glass windows to add charm. My wife and I chose this place to celebrate our anniversary and it was perfect! It is elegant, charming and romantic, but practical too, as it has 3 large tv’s, a studio/extra sleeping area, a very ample bathroom with a separate shower and tub. Also a comfortable living room, a small but useful kitchen and a dining table for 6. The main bedroom is comfy with a king-sized bed. The whole place is enchanced with very high ceilings (Í’d say at least 10, maybe 11 feet high). This is a peaceful, quiet area. Its central location just a couple of blocks from Broadway made it easy to reach any place we wanted to visit with a 10-minute drive. Our host, John, answered my messages right away, and was extremely kind and helpful in every way! We were even received with a plate of blueberry muffins, great for next’s day’s breakfast! I seriously doubt that you could find a nicer place in Tyler. This is the place to stay!
