The Walkover to the Beach is very convenient. There's a lot of restaurants, shops and things to do within walking distance. The overall prices were very reasonable. I'd go again.

Absolutely loved the location - right on the beach. the partial ocean view was a little disappointing. Hotel is a bit gritty. Great family runs it.

DeSoto was a great place to stay for our vacation at Tybee. Staff were polite, professional, and friendly. And the beach was right there. The hotel was convenient to shopping and restaurants. We will be back definitely

DeSoto hotel - quick and easy getaway with the oce
Terrific 3 day visit to Tybee island on my own. The stay at DeSoto was peaceful and quiet. Hotel is just feet from the beach, with a pool to cool off when things get too hot. Room service came every day, and they immediately took care of a room issue I had upon arriving (minor issue with AC that was addressed - cool air flowed quickly afterward).
