The Space:
Saddle Country Escape by Tiny Away is located in Tyaak, close to Stevenson Falls, Kinglake National Park, and a short drive from nearby towns of Broadford and Seymour. It's the perfect off-grid retreat with a well-equipped kitchenette, pot-bellied stove, queen-sized bed up in the loft, and a couch on the ground floor. A cozy 157-square-foot tiny home that has cooking tools, cutlery, and a portable electric cooler fridge.

The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water through using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

Saddle Country Escape by Tiny Away sits near a small town in Broadford, where gold was discovered by an old mining town in 1852. Unlike many gold mining towns that died, this one has survived as a historical attraction in the region.

Today, there are a small number of well-preserved historic buildings in the area, along with nearby tourist attraction such as Mount Disappointment, which offer leisure walks.

- If you plan to bring your horse, please inform the land host 24 hours before arrival to make the necessary arrangements for a horse boarding fee of $20 per night plus insurance (daily insurance fee to be advised).

- Guests are advised to bring portable power banks in case of low power
- Guests are also advised to save energy to avoid running out of electricity
- Please take note that outdoor fire pits are not available during the fire season
- Please charge your phone and electronics in advance in case of low-light days
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Keep in mind that there may be other residences on the property that guests will rent out, so you may run into them when roaming around the property.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
