Playa Esperanza have my Heart. It is a beautiful place located in the jungle and beach and it was very quiet and loved every minute staying in the nature. Host were too friendly, kind, helpful and very understanding. I highly recommend this place to get away from all your worries and enjoy your stay with nature.
Playa Esperanza is the perfect place to unwind, it’s super ideal for a couples getaway or honeymoon. All the staff is super nice and helpful. The only downside for me, it’s that not all of their rooms have AC, they’re an eco friendly hotel and there is no fridge, iron or hair dryer, and they shut the power for a couple of hours as they are running on generators. But I love that they care about the environment!
We stayed at the Maria Felix room and it has maybe the best view. The receptionist, staff, and servers were on top of it and know how to truly treat their customers.
What a wonderful trip! Playa Esperanza and its amazing and friendly staff helped to make our trip an unforgettable experience. Oh, and the Caribbean located just 50-feet from our cabana might have helped as well. The resort, location, and overall vibe were just perfect and we can't wait to go back.
First I’d like to say that the staff was VERY nice, friendly , and accommodating. We felt welcomed and our requests were met. I will say if you’re looking for a true outdoorsy experience with nature, then this is the place. We stayed in the Celia Cruz room and it was interesting to say the least. The room was prettt small especially with our luggage but the view and distance to ocean was worth it! Each day we were welcomed with a surprise “poop” on the floor and during our first stay, the toilet stopped working, so as mentioned it was an interesting stay but we made the best of it for 4 days.
One thing that isnt mentioned and caught us by surprise is that ou do have to pay to enter the hotel zone because the hotel is on a national park. The fee is $3 daily (if you leave the area) otherwise you pay one time and they give you a wristband. For convenience RENT A CAR we learned the hard way and walked every where or took a taxi which can quickly add up. Having a car makes it easier for you to visit the centre and other nearby places because the taxi prices are pretty high. All in all I’d rate my experience a 7 out of 10 for the reason.
The best part aside from the views, would be the restaurants!! Soooo many delicious options to choose from! If you’re still reading and wondering if you should go, go for it! It’s the perfect place to reset your mind
Excellent location and great service and staff! The beach to the hotel is amazing! Highly recommend

The property has a very outdoor cabin feel to it it was decent but not luxury. Its good for a person who likes more of the nature feeling. I personally prefer luxury with a hint of the natural feeling but it was okay.
