While the evening check in went smoothly, our room was worn down from the paint to the lampshades. There was also cleaning needing done in the bathroom from hair in different parts to urine all around the base of the toilet. Breakfast was filling, check out person was a little pushy in making us check us before we loaded our car with our luggage.

Overpowering Mildew and damaged furniture
I was disappointed with my stay at La Quinta at Broken Arrow, OK. The most immediate issue was the overwhelming smell of mildew throughout the hallways. It was so strong that it made it difficult to breathe and it made me cough. Additionally, the furniture was in poor condition with noticeable damage. The room was ok overall for one night stay. Breakfast is basic. Given the price point, I expected a comfortable stay. I would not stay here again.

The AC did not work in my room. The lowest the temperature got in the room was 74 degrees. No one was present at the front desk in the morning to make them aware.

Just pulling up to the facility the pool was beautiful, walking into the lobby you could just feel it was going to be a nice comfortable stay! I loved that they don’t charge you a hold compared to some hotels, they just took the card info incase the room was messed up after leaving! The room was perfect, everything worked easily including the ac! Breakfast was really good with multiple options and loved the seating! We will be coming here again! Absolutely wonderful!

So-so.
The air conditioner in my room did work well. My room, as well as the common areas of the building are so incredibly humid. The humidity inside my room was so high that the sheets and my clothes felt wet all the time. The water pressure was low. The coffee cups in the lobby do not have lids. Ever. It's the little things, folks... The room and the hotel were clean and the staff was very nice.

The only two things l didn't like was the shower was really slippery. Needs a mat or something so you don't slip and fall. The other is the flags out front. Either they were broken or not secured properly. Only one eyelet secured on both flags.
