I was close to giving it five stars. The breakfast deserves ten stars. They cooked potatoes bites, fresh eggs and bacon all you can eat. It was both delicious and filling. I was not expecting the breakfast to be that good. The only real complaint I had was that the room smelled funny and the hotel itself does not seem the cleanest. But, if you're just passing through, I wouldn't let that stop you. If you like a hardy breakfast, this is the only place I would recommend.

I stay here when I visit Tucson. Close to the airport, nice free breakfast selection, large rooms, helpful staff, and QUIET! Rooms could use maintenance: fresh paint. Sofas and carpets cleaned. But all in all, it’s where I like to stay.

For our three-night stay in November 2024, here's the breakdown: Pros: Updated rooms are spacious and attractive; beds well made and the quarters clean upon arrival; pleasant, roomy couch could be made into a bed if needed; extra kitchenette area with a bar sink, small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker; convenient location close to restaurants and shopping; quiet, very little ambient noise; my husband loved the breakfasts--they even had omelets one day that he said were delicious. Mid: Beds double instead of queen or king--probably my own mistake but make sure you double check what you order; beds and pillows neither highly comfortable nor uncomfortable; TV and thermostat not intuitive but we eventually figured them out; shampoo/conditioner/shower gel were not in little bottles but in a dispenser in the shower; value priced perhaps but still not cheap. Cons: Worrisome dark spots on the bathroom ceiling--in view of how clean the rest of the room was, this discoloration might be somewhat permanent; not enough outlets to conveniently charge devices; ice machines broken so had to get ice at front desk; various small items are in poor repair (like the elevator buttons); room had one tiny soap about the size of a scant half-dollar that got gooey quickly as there was no soap dish; shower felt like pressure washer; when I went to the front desk to inquire if our beds would be made up that evening, I was told they only do housekeeping every 3 days!

Property is dated. Carpeting in room was stained, some of the towels and the shower curtain was not clean and there was a rubber mat that was covering the bottom of an unclean shower. I opted not to use it. The lobby smelled of smoke. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was my second stay here since it is next to the airport. Made reservation thru Expedia. The bed is very comfortable however the air sounded like someone pulling a metal object across a grate mist of the night, very noisy. The receptionist had matter of fact personality, not very nice. Asked a question about airport and she didn’t look at me in reply just kept busy work but I was only Person in lobby at 9pm.

Not good - not recommended
1st elevators were down, I called front desk to get our toilet looked at no one showed up. Called front desk to advise if low pressure on the shoer and faucet- no one showed up. Asked for room service (cleaning) looks like they only made the bed and left towels that were torn or ripped. Overall bad service, bever staying here again. I travel to Tucson alot very disappointed

The Staff was wonderful, we just happened to be sharing the hotel with a traveling football team that had a tournament in Tucson. I felt so sorry for the staff they were running around assisting all these young boys and their families. The only that happened was the elevator was broken I had to. walk up and down five flights of stairs (with luggage). Breakfast was not that great.

Not a good stay
The room was not clean, felt dingy. The water pressure in the sink and shower went on and off throughout the stay. The shower floor felt like you were going to fall through it, the lights in the living area did not work! The beds were really lumpy and you could feel the springs coming through. The breakfast was mediocre..... there was a water leak in the lobby which cause issues during breakfast. No ice machines worked in the hotel. The worst was the elevators became inoperable and we had to haul our luggage down from the 5th floor via stairs! Not a good stay.

Came to Tucson for a family weekend at Univ of AZ, hotel about 15min away from college and very close proximity to Airport. The flight got in late but the night front desk clerk was courteous and professional. The hotel needs updating, only one elevator was working. Our room was clean for the most part except for the cobwebs on the light fixtures. The bathroom door paint was pealing off, only half the door had the original paint on it and the air conditioner was super loud. The bathroom light wasn’t working, took them a day and a half to repair it. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The TV did not have instructions, kept saying no connection was available. Talked to the front desk in the afternoon and she seemed annoyed that we asked her how to work the TV, we also told her about the bathroom light not working and nothing was done to repair it that day. The continental breakfast was mediocre. Three Dutch ovens were on an infrared stove that had eggs, sausage, and bacon in them. There were no potholders to open and we ended up burning our hands trying to remove the lids off. Had to find a paper napkin to remove lid to get to the food. That’s an accident waiting to happen. Overall, I would not return to this hotel.

Sunday, October 27, 2024: I chose this room based on the different floor plan which I did appreciate. The reason for my rating is the issue I had at the front desk after my accident. The shower has faded to none non slip skids for slipping. There was no rubber mat available. I slipped out of the tub onto the bathroom floor as soon as the water came on. I hit my shoulder and injured my wrist. Thank goodness my head was ok, and my husband was there to help me. He also slipped in the shower after mine, but did not fall out of the tub. Upon check out, I told the lady what happened (no name tag), and to please let someone know to replace stickers or add a bath mat so no one gets seriously hurt or worse. She did not lift her eyes from the computer. I repeated myself and said this is serious you have older people stay here. Her response: Most people put a towel down in the inside of the tub first. Still not making eye contact with me. I had to walk away! Warning! Stay at your own risk!
