Welcome to the historic Iron Horse carriage house! located 1 block from downtown Tucson.
When you stay at this centrally located home, your family will be close to everything. Only 1 minute from the University and Downtown Tucson!
Only minutes walking distance to the neighborhood coffee shop, restaurants, and famous 4th Ave district, and take the electric streetcar (free transportation) throughout downtown and 4th Ave.

Enjoy all the standard conveniences of a home. Two free tandem parking spaces are provided with your stay. An additional street meter parking charge is available for any additional automobiles.
The 1BR / 1BA detached cottage comes with a kitchenette and a full bathroom with two tandem parking spaces in the driveway. Additional City of Tucson Street meter parking is available for a fee - if needed
If you need more space for your family and friends, the main house is 2BR / 2BA and may also be available for an additional fee per night.

Guests staying in the 1BR / 1BA rear guest cottage have sole access to park tandem in the driveway and also use the south side gate entrance to enter the rear of the property. The steel double doors on the north side of home should remain closed at all times.
Guests access staying in the 2BR / 2BA home receive two parking passes for street parking in front of the house. These parking passes should remain on the dash or mirror at all times, otherwise, a parking ticket may be enforced and charged to the vehicle owner by the City of Tucson.

Small but cute
Nice place - would definitely stay there again- only problems were host never sent us the lock box code were the key was- he also sent me the wrong address- which made no sense- but got correct address off vrbo- he did promptly answer his phone an gave us the code - towel bar keep falling down - did inform host- other then those few minor problems - great location- very quite neighborhood- easy short walk to 4th ave- coop right there to get fresh veggies - an other needs - fun area- definitely woukd be a great place for 1 or 2 people( the carriage house) the main house is bigger an would be more appropriate for larger group- enjoyed stay -

Modern conveniences in awesome location!
Marcus is a great host with quick communications. There was a bit of confusion with the front house about parking, those guests were confused about our space, and Marcus handled it immediately. If you rent the back unit parking is on the property. The place was cool, cozy, modern, amenities galor, big bathroom and shower. Great coffee, security, AC, patio, and Netflix and Prime! Plus live cable too. Bed very comfortable and plenty of room for up to 3 people. You can walk or take the street car and hit everything downtown and 4th Avenue in minutes! Brooklyn Pizza was yummy.

Visit to Tucson
This property worked well for me. It was clean and quiet. I felt safe on the property and in the neighborhood. I walked to restaurants, a grocery store, and there is a coffee shop across the street. My rental car was electric and there were several charging stations close by. It was practically perfect for me. The property manager was very responsive and patient.

Disappointing experience
Unfortunately this was a disappointing experience. My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting family. I received no email or directions on how to check in. I emailed and texted several times to ask about how to check in to the property (there is a lockbox with a code) and received no reply. We we’re checking in at 4pm, well after the allowed check in time. I eventually got a hold of the property manager, he ended up giving me a code but only after calling him twice. He did apologize but by that time we had been standing outside waiting for over half an hour. The management is clearly really disorganized. As for the property, it was extremely dirty. Thick layer of dust over the kitchen items - cutting boards, coffee maker, microwave etc. The floors we’re very dirty as well. There was no hot water in the building, had to call to have it looked at, they ended up fixing it thank goodness. Be careful of the towel bar and toilet paper holder, they are not attached to the wall very well and will fall right off. Lots of patched holes in the wall that have never been painted. This place needs work.

This was a great property within walking distance of my daughter's apartment and coffee shops and restaurants. It was cute inside with a great patio outdoor area . I had a very comfortable stay.

Nice updated unit with private entrance. It’s a casita in back of another rental home on same property. Convenient to downtown & 4th ave. Walking distance to university or hop on free electric train for easy ride to university. Great coffee shop on corner. Marcus very responsive to any issues.
