Hoff Avenue Casita is an urban retreat in the heart of Tucson. The 1-bedroom, 1-bath Casita has a fenced backyard area. Please note that the backyard is not private and SHARED with other guests who rent the front 3-bedroom, 2-bath home, which is also a rental. Casita guests will have their own private entrance via a gate and use a front door keypad to enter the Casita.
The Casita is crafted in the classic desert style and boasts a lovely queen-size bed with a well-appointed kitchenette. The separate living room also includes a couch that folds into a full-size bed. Additional amenities include air conditioning and heating, high-speed wireless internet (150mbps download/10mbps upload), smart TV with Chromecast to link up streaming accounts, coffee maker, microwave, and gas range.
DISCLAIMER: The property is located in the heart of downtown Tucson, so expect urban noise, such as trains, planes, helicopters, nightlife, and vehicles. Train tracks run through downtown near the property, so we provide noise machines in each bedroom for guests who are light sleepers.
The space is well equipped. Upon check-in, you will find coffee and basic kitchen supplies/seasonings. Soap, dishes, pots and pans, towels, hair dryer, and iron are all provided. We have tried to think of everything, but if you find you are missing an item, please ask, and we will do our best to provide it!

Kitchen: Fully stocked kitchenette with refrigerator, gas range, microwave, pots and pans, and utensils

The property is a private oasis in bustling central Tucson. 1 block from 4th Avenue, 2 blocks from Hotel Congress/Congress Street, 1/2 a mile from the University of Arizona, and located near the Tucson Bike Loop! Some of our favorite walkable spots include Cup Cafe, Bison Witches, Empire Pizza, The Buffet Bar, the Container Bar, and Ermanos Bar. All within a 10-minute or less walk!
Park at the house then venture out by foot or bike to explore downtown. If you didn't bring a bike, there are TEP rental bikes at the corner of 9th and 4th Ave in front of Dillinger Brewing Company. Hop on the Tucson Link tram to access all of downtown and the University of Arizona.

We ask that pets not be allowed on the furniture and that guests pick up and discard any droppings.
PACKAGES & MAIL: If you need to receive packages or mail during your stay, please DO NOT plan to have anything delivered to the property. Instead, please plan to have packages or mail delivered to an Amazon locker, FedEx location, etc.

Exactly the right location!
We wanted a quick getaway on the train and this location was the absolute best. We could walk to all the fun things to do in the area and even walk back to the train when we left. You are close to the train track but because the train is below grade, it is not a problem. The casita was perfect for a couple and I would stay there again!

A little Surprise!
Sweet casita with full yard, loved being outside in the evenings. Inside totally modern, clean, comfortable, cute, great bed and shower, will be back!

AMAZING CASITA!
Where do I begin!? This casita was absolutely perfect for our needs. It had everything we needed for a nice getaway and the location to great food, shopping and the uniqueness of 4th Ave was such a joy! There’s a great little courtyard for drinking coffee in the morning or reading a book. We will definitely be staying here again and definitely rate a 5 out of 5!
