Very nice staff. Hotel is good. Location is HORRIBLE. It’s at the airport. Front view is of runway! Also nothing around it but light industrial property and some fast (western) food. An in town hotel would have been much nicer.the hotel is not prepared for early guests-did not have property storage room for bags while one perhaps goes to town to see things. People very nice but facility is bad location and not prepared for tourists.

Moxy Tromso is a good, reasonably priced option close to airport. However, there are no restaurants close by. Either a 10 minute taxi ride into Tromso or the bus. Property has loads of quirky features. Check in is on the 11th floor. Fantastic lounge with good views. Make sure you book a room with a sea view otherwise pretty grim at the back

The views are wonderful. The location is central and superb. However. Pillows to sleep on are too soft. The Hotel is an upscale Youth Hostel and Service was average.

Great hotel, 3 minutes away from Tromsø airport and 5 minutes away from the city centre. The breakfast had a great selection of food for any type of dietary requirements. The parking in front of the main entrance was useful, however you have to pay for it. The bar on the 11th floor was vibrant, with a lovely view and they even offered us welcome drinks. The room was nice and cozy, the bathroom was spacious, however the bed was too noisy and squeaky for every minor movement, I wasn’t able to get a good nights sleep due to the noises of the bed as I was constantly waking up.

A pleasant place to stay
Clean room , staff friendly although always rushed off their feet manning both reception and the bar . Ideally located for the airport and Bus 28 across the road direct to the city in 15 minutes. Very comfortable bed .

No dresser or closet in room. Ceiling is concrete and unpainted in room. Bartender did not know how to make advertised drinks. Crew member observed cleaning multiple tables with same rag and no sanitizer or cleaning solution used. She then cleaned food station with same rag. Broken glass left outside for 2 days on porch. Zero management presence. Should not be considered a Marriott brand hotel.

The rooms are relatively small and I would have preferred access to a fridge, but overall we were quite pleased with our stay. While it’s not in the city center, it’s not terribly far, and the access to the mall/grocery stores/pizza/Burger King so close within walking distance made it convenient to eat. The bar is great with lots of games and cozy seating to hang out. They advertise being pet friendly and had an adorable pet station in the common area. The rooms were very quiet, the bed was comfortable. Seeing a previous review I knew to ask for extra pillows on check in and they were brought down shortly after check in. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were pleased with our experience.

Great find just outside of Tromso
We had read mixed reviews about the hotel but it was really good. It’s not in the town centre but close to the airport, but no issue with noise. The lady at check in was lovely and the rooms are simple but perfect for a nights rest when you’ve been out exploring all day. The check in and bar being on the top floor gives an amazing experience and a lovely place to have breakfast or a coffee. Limited food options for meals, but what they do have tasted good. It’s only a short taxi or Uber ride into Tromso itself and you get to experience the underground road network which is super cool. They’ve also got luggage lockers if you want to leave your bags before flying home whilst you go out to town. Overall, it’s a simple, modern, funky hotel, with gorgeous views, out of town to escape the hustle and bustle but we would definitely stay there again if we came back to Tromso.!
