I liked my spacious room, very quiet. The shared bathrooms were very clean. Breakfast was a plus. The owner is very nice. The property is very well located a block away from the Gran Canal and close to Piazza Unità. On the minus side: three long flights of stairs. Good value. Recommended.

Fantastic time!
It was a great stay and the owners were very accommodating, even when I checked in late and I had to check-out early in the morning. They had a great breakfast in the morning including different pastries, bread, fruit, and meat. The room itself was very cute and really allowed you to feel like you were in Italy! I really loved it and would definitely go back again!

Great Location - 3rd floor NO lifts
Very nice B&B but, it was not mentioned that it was 6 flight of stairs up. I was well puffed out. Our room was very clean and tidy but dark, you needed the light on all the time, could open the window but 2 sets of shutters on them made it so dark. The noise from the floorboards, my goodness talk about creaking very bad. Stated we had private bathroom but this was still out in the hallway across from our room. Basic breakfast but was ok.

Perfect location and very hospitable host. Nice people as guests too. It is up a few flights so you have to (1) find the light switch and (2) be prepared to climb stairs with your bag. No problem here.

We had a great stay at the Bed and Breakfast, you should know though that the rooms do not have air conditioning. The breeze off the Adriatic Sea does make up for it.

What a beautiful B&B! Our hosts were most accommodating and welcoming. We arrived around midnight and were warmly welcomed and shown to our rooms which were beautiful and comfortable. Very comfy beds were quite welcome after traveling all day. Breakfast was a nice spread of toast, croissants, pastries, fresh fruit, jams, and yogurt, and the host even provided a whole assortment of gluten free items for me! It was a wonderful stay and we would happily stay here again.

B&B At Its Finest!
Bed & Breakfast Al Cucherle was the most pleasant choice while staying in Trieste. The location is very convenient as it is close to city center and sight seeing Trieste has to offer. The place is easy to find and the building is of the 1900's architecture with high ceilings. The B&B itself is very cozy, inviting, clean and pleasantly decorated. It's easy to feel at home here. Daniela is the greatest hostess, very attentive and ready to help with any info one might need. We enjoyed our stay at B&B Al Cucherle, will gladly make it our choice again when in Trieste and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. P.S. If you're driving, outside parking might be a good choice, it's free 8 pm - 8am, the area is safe. There's also a parking garage on Via Milano, a mere 5 min walk from the B&B and costs 20 Euro/night. The only abnormality was having to leave the car keys along with the car (think of it as valet), but based on our experience with the business being trustworthy, we would park there again.

Nice hotel in the center of Trieste
A pleasant hotel in the heart of Trieste, very close to the canal, seafront and the train station. The hotel owner was very friendly and served up a tasty breakfast each morning. The room was tastly furnished although the bed was a bit squeaky- I slept very well though.

Lo stabile è signorile con stanze bene arredate e pulite. Bagno condiviso pulito e ordinato. Le stanze sono al terzo piano e non c'è l'ascensore perciò non sono adatte a chi soffre gli scalini. Molto vicino al centro e al terminal bus e stazione ferroviaria
