It was decent but uncomfortable.
The staff was nice, the view was good, the hotel and room was clean. The main problem I had was the bed. It was so uncomfortable I felt like my body was hit by baseball bats when I woke up and the bed squeaked every time you would move. The linens were also not very soft, they were scratchy.

Everything was very clean and the staff was very attentive and courteous. Our only downside was Covid style bagged breakfast. Expected a breakfast in the warmers with scrambled eggs, meat, toast options.

Couple Getaway
Our room had a balcony view of East Traverse Bay which was wonderful to wake up to. Room was spacious, modern and comfortable. You are given a slip for breakfast choices which are packed in boxes and left in bag on your door. There were a variety of breakfast choices. No hot choices but 24 hour coffee or hot cocoa available off of lobby. Hotel staff communicated via texts to ask if there was anything we needed and gave us a wonderful reccommendation for steak restaurant. Will definitely return!

I arrived at 3 am to a very competent but not exceptionally friendly front desk staff. To top it off I had to go back out to my car to put a parking permit on my rearview mirror at 3 o’clock in the morning! I realize this is hotel policy, but what happened to the good old registration form asking for your plate number. Not a great start but that changed when I opened the door to my room. The property appears fairly new and well-maintained. My room reminded me of walking into someone’s home as opposed to a hotel room. Exceptional design, very clean, and bed pillows, and mattress that allowed me to get a few hours of great sleep.
