The staff training was poor. The front desk was friendly but needed to check the manager for each request, making it slow. I rang guest services on 9, and it was not answered. There was no ringback. I tried several times, and the call went unanswered each time. I left it open to the bank music for a long time, and it was unanswered. At check-out time, the staff knocked on the door. I opened the door to house cleaning, still within check out times. The coffee-making facility was unusual, with a fiddly packet filter style. The capsules are easier, particularly in the early morning.

We had a good week at Ardo. Stating for a week it was tedious having to ask for our room to be made up every day. Critisms - rooms very small for a ‘5’ star hotel. We never got tea and milk replenished. Luxury escapes was a good deal. The additional 4 nights I paid for my daughter - expensive for a view of the carpark!

An exceptional property that truly makes the most of it's stunning waterfront location. Beautifully designed for comfort and relaxation, with world-class views whether from the rooftop bar and pool, or our comfy king-size bed. Great value for money too, especially with full access to the pool and restaurants of Ardo's sister property, The Ville Resort Casino next door.

We were so impressed! What a beautiful hotel and the service was extraordinary! The staff was very friendly and pleased to provide assistance. Our room was perfect with an amazing ocean view. The pool is gorgeous and the roof top bar looked very inviting. Wish we could stayed longer!

We stayed here as a launching pad for a long weekend at Magnetic Island. What a great hotel! The rooms were excellent, the sunsets and drinks from the rooftop bar were awesome and the walk to the ferry terminal was quick and easy. We liked it so much we booked an extra day on our return from Magnetic Island and spent the day wandering the Strand and finished off with a magnificent dinner at Terasu!

Breathtaking hotel
