Allergy Sufferers Beware

Pros: The sheets and pillowcases were clean. There were two televisions in the room but note none of the channels were in English.
Cons: The windows need changing so they can be opened. The terrible smell investigated. Not suitable for allergy sufferers
Location: Toulouse is a small city so close to everything you need.
My wife suffers from allergy so I contacted the proprietor of the hotel to explain that and to ensure that the bedding was hypo allergenic and the room suitable. Having been assured we should be okay I booked for two nights. We arrived late at night to a very small building and greeted by the proprietor in a reception area where the family's pet cat was present. Not a problem as long as you're not allergic to pet dander. After checking in we went straight to the room which seemed to be clean but there was a terrible smell which I suspect from looking at older posts (plenty of time to look at them in the night :/) was due to the building being old and the windows not opening. Would seem there had been mould issues in the past. Not being familiar with the city and with everything closed or soon to close we felt there was no choice but to stay. Within a short time of getting into bed my wife's air passages started to close up and I was concerned she might go into anaphylactic shock...very concerning given that I didn't know where the nearest hospital was. The best place for her was in the tiled en-suite bathroom away from the soft furnishings. From previous reviews it was evident that the proprietor was unlikely to refund the cost of the room for the second night so I contacted ebookers. They said that 24 hours notice had to be given for a refund. As expected the proprietor was defensive, rude and showed no sympathy for our situation. As expected no refund.

Hôtel parfait!

Super séjour dans cet hôtel très accueillant et plein de charme. Services et informations de qualité! Situation très proche du centre ville à pied. Parfait hôtel qui change des randes chaines impersonnelles et sans vie.

confortable et accueillant

chambre très propre et silencieuse, accueil familial très sympathique, situation centrale, rien à redire. nous conseillons vivement cet hotel. (sejour de 3 nuits pour un week end prolongé de découverte de Toulouse)
