This 1840 picturesque villa is located 5 km far from the White village of Competa, in the province of Malaga, Andalucia.
This Axarquía-typical farmhouse has been renewed keeping its ancient style and the original structure, which provides excellent thermic isolation. Its location offers its guests breathtaking views of the green mountains of the Natural Park of Sierra Tejeda y Almijara that are particularly spectacular at dawn and during sunset. The views over the mountains of El Lucero, the Fuerte of Frigiliana with its majestic pine cover or the peak of El Cisne are just some of the astonishing presents nature gives to the guests of this holiday home.
This historic holiday home offers the opportunity to enjoy pure air, quietness and silence, in direct contact with nature. Moreover, you won’t have to give up the modern facilities.
The access road is only 300 meters far from the paved lane that connects Competa with Torrox Costa, which makes it easy to visit those towns.
The house can welcome up to six people, who can rest in one of the three bedrooms, one with double bed and the other two with two single beds each. The house also has a picturesque fireplace and a completely equipped open kitchen, alongside free WIFI, and a 22” satellite TV, thanks to which you will be able to see various international channels.
In the outdoor area, which is almost 10 hectares wide, you will find a private swimming pool, a garage and private parking. In the vicinity, traditional cultures can be found, such as grapevines, almond trees, fig trees, and prickly pears. Moreover, the property welcomes subtropical plants such as avocados and mangos, which can grow thanks to the mild climate conditions of the area.
Some other picturesque spots in the house are an old oven attached to the house, which has been recently renewed, and little buildings in front of the porch where grapes would be kept. They would dry in the sun, and convert into the main ingredient of the area's typical sweet.
In the lowest part of the property, you will find a spring known as “Fuente de Pepe Ruiz”, which would provide potable water to all the neighbours when houses didn’t have running water.
