It’s not fancy but the staff are very nice and accommodating and keep things clean. Great location, walkable to restaurants and right by transit. A lot of reviews complain about some of the homeless folk in the area, which there are a lot of people nearby maybe not at the best time in their lives but everyone was polite and the area seemed relatively safe. Good place if you’re looking for a no frills discount spot.
Based on the prices in downtown Toronto the Inn is okay. The staff was courteous. There is coffee in the lobby. The beds are excellent, and clean. The rooms are quite small. The neighbourhood is not bad, there are pretty houses around, but it seems to be a favourite spot for people in very bad shape. They keep to themselves, but obviously leave garbage on the sidewalk and streets. I did not feel unsafe.
The staff was nice and the room was clean. But the neighbouring area was sketchy and concerning. Some furniture is stained beyond repair even though it is clean. Good for one night only.
This hotel is in very poor condition, and in an area full of drug addicts. I was there with my son and we couldn’t leave the room.
The smell inside was torrid. No coffee, everything stained and malfunctioning.
This is yet the worst i have ever experienced.
I want my $189 back!!

Located in an older building which has had some cosmetic improvements (paint, floor, etc). Room included a mini fridge.
Floor in room and hallway looked unswept. TV in too turned on, but cable box didn’t seem to function. Limited plugs in room to charge devices. Room had two air fresheners - one a be the door and a plug-in type. Very small bathroom and shower - had to get in the shower in order to close the door.

Liked: Staff & service
The room was basic, and served its purpose. The area arpund the hotel suffers from having addictions services nearby, but it's fine. They are humans, and I have empathy. We were treated fantastically by the manager, and really only needed a place to sleep.
