The only positive thing I can say, is the bedding was clean in the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was disgusting. It were handprints on the headboard and marks from drinks on the nightstand. We booked for two nights and only stayed one night because it was dirty. When I told the front desk clerk that as we were checking out, he didn’t even acknowledge me.

Thoroughly disappointed to find out that the hot tub at this hotel has been out of service for, as the guy at the front desk put it, over 2 years! So, it’s never going to get fixed? It needs to be taken off the list of amenities at this hotel.

Quality in a decent choice
I felt safe which is remarkable in that some motels in Lawrence have semipermanent dwellers that are suspicious at best. I think this the best value for mediocre lodging. Access easy as $6 uber from anywhere in town. Clean and all service in room worked.

The property is in a shabby state. My room had an unrepaired hole in the bathroom door where someone had punched it. On entering I noticed a hair pin and threads on the carpet. The chrome towel rack was rusty. The comforter was torn in two places with polyester filling showing. This would be tolerable in a budget facility but the two weekend nights cost me $180 each. I felt it was unacceptable for the price.

There wasn't anything I didn't like, what I did like was that they were a couple of different restaurants nearby the hotel that was very convenient and you didn't have to drive because otherwise the streets of Lawrence are just crazy busy all the time, also the restaurant called 23rd Street Brewery was less than 5 minutes away which was really nice in a short drive and Texas Roadhouse is right there which is another favorite restaurant of mine and my girlfriends

Needs major updating
there for Family weekend - hotel needs major updating. covers on bed were torn in corners and bathroom was in need of a major redo as tub was stained and tiles on floor were wobbly. Staff was kind and courteous.
