Overall stay was okay. The hotel is next to a busy street so you constantly hear cars and trucks drive by all hours of the night. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was alright; not much variety.

This was a great property for the price. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially the lady working the breakfast area. She was sweet and personable and worked diligently to kee food items replenished and tables cleared and cleaned. This property was conveniently located to KU and downtown Lawrence. Check and check out were easy and quick. My biggest complaint would be that the shower's water pressure was not good at all, and the air conditioning did not seem to be cooling the room efficiently. Fortunately I am a cold natured person, so that wasnt a deal breaker for me. I was comfortable. The room was more than spacious and the fact that the mini fridge had a freezer was a bonus.

This is a perfectly adequate hotel at a good price and a safe area. Unfortunately the elevator stopped working on day 2 of our 3 day trip, but it’s only a 2 story hotel so not too bad. :)

First, the elevator was not working. The doors closed abruptly on my husband, in addition to shaking and uneasy. Second- the hotel is somewhat dark and dingy. Needs a good deep cleaning,and general things fixed. Wallpaper peeling on the walls of the hallways. Door in our bathroom was very hard to open and close. The whole place needs some TLC.

Towel from the last person was left hanging on the shower rod, TV didn’t work (staff did come up to fix it), shower handle literally fell off, in-room safe didn’t work, blow-dryer didn’t work, and on the last day, the elevator didn’t work. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hello. This is a superb motel and staff. I was there for four days and five nights. My only complaint is that I wish there were more options for good drinking water. Relied on the tap, mostly, and it wasn't terrible, but it could've been better. Otherwise, terrific lodging.
