Overall it was good. The free breakfast was very nice. Only reason why I could not give it a five stars… in the late evening. The adjacent room…. Half the time it sounded like they were partying… half the time sounded like a fight! I was wondering if the bullet if a weapon was involved would penetrate the walls and into our room. After about 30 plus minutes we heard the door close and it was quiet afterwards. Other than that.. it was good

This property has been my go-to hotel in the Toledo area for many years. It is losing it’s appeal very quickly, with the management change. The outdoor pool will not open again, I am told. My room 115 was wheelchair accessible and I did not ask for this. There was little to no water pressure in the shower, the refrigerator was not working properly, but made a loud noise off and on all night. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, also. What a huge disappointment!

Without prior notice of any kind, the hotel shut the water off at 11:00AM, to install a softener. This was supposed to be acceptable, to myself and possibly others, on account of the 11:00AM checkout policy in accordance with which I was deemed to have departed. A checkout time is not a hard deadline and almost always, minor flexibility is extended, and expected. I was at most 30 minutes delayed, but the shutoff cost me the opportunity for a departing shower. An appeal for some consideration on the bill was beyond the authority of the indifferent clerk, and beyond the availability of the absent manager. It remains to be seen if any credit is bestowed post-departure. Checkout time alone is not a valid reason to begin work that affects guest services. I'd suggest that the hotel is obligated to notify guests in the building and arriving guests in some manner, be it an intercom announcement, an automated telephone notification, a sign in the lobby. Spontaneous and unannounced shutdowns are inconsiderate and uncalled for.

I asked for our rooms to be close to each other, we were on opposite ends of hotel. The rooms were nice though. Hot tub was not hot at all, it was warm at best. Breakfast could have been better. The eggs on Saturday were very rubbery, scrambled would have been much better. We would like to see Franks hot sauce or salsa packs. Bisquits and gravy would probably be a nice option as well.

Not sure why this place was highly rated by others
Room was musty, bed was very uncomfortable, and several areas in our room had marks, were dirty, or were stained. We left our room fairly early in the morning hoping that breakfast would at least be better. It wasn't. Breakfast was pretty awful. There were very few items available, and what was available was pretty unappetizing (the egg I got was an odd color on the bottom, and I didn't notice this until after I took a bite, ew). We left pretty quickly after this and have no plans to return. The only real positives I can say were the staff were pleasant and there was plenty of parking available. But I would not recommend this place to others for sure.
