This was our first hotel in Japan and it took us a few days to adjust to the business of Tokyo. Concierge were kind and polite, but unable to offer any real assistance with things like locating the closest facilities, like grocery store and coin laundry, or pillow choices, or any of the small things on offer by a concierge. This includes restaurant recommendations. It took us a few days to realise that the actual best restaurants are up the street. Our room was clean, quiet, in good repair and quite comfortable. I didn’t like how a curtain has to be drawn in the bathroom for privacy, but opened to get some natural liight. Location is good and easy to access many local attractions train station is close, coin laundry 5min walk.

The Granbell was the perfect hotel for a lovey stay in Tokyo - super close to the subway, walkable to all things Shibuya, the staff was very friendly, and the room was very nice. Check in and check out were seamless and I would highly recommend this hotel!

This property is very much geared towards foreigners. The staff are mostly much more knowledgeable in English than other more typical hotel staff in the area, but still came off a little annoyed with incompetence, which is why I docked a star for my experience.

Room cleanliness can be better, carpet seems a little dirty and dusty, but in terms of other aspect, it's pretty decent. Esp right smack in shibuya, price is good and near kombini and has plenty of food and shopping around the area.

The hotel was really great, clean close to everything in Shibuya. The staff was really great and accommodating. The only thing that I could complain about is that the room was very small but that seems to be the norm in Tokyo but it was still very comfortable. I will be coming back in the Spring and will definitely be staying here again. I highly recommend this Hotel.

It is very well located. The room was definitely small and pretty basic, that being said it was more than ok for just me and just one night. I knew this place because last year I had the chance to go to one of the restaurants located in the building, which I highly recommend!

I got the 1 bedroom but it was way too small, i could barely fit my luggage inside, the refrigerator was not cooling enough, no free TV. I did like the shower and bed was comfortable. Free coffee is also a plus The hotel sits along a steep hill so if you have lots of luggage better be prepared for some excercise.

It's in a very convenient location but the building and room is very run down, I booked a larger room so I can lay out my suitcase easier but the bad placement and use of furniture in the room still made it difficult. The room lighting is also absolutely horrible, so dark you can barely see anything, especially at the bathroom sink. The staff were good, but I would not book again.
