The location is very convenient for travelling around Tokyo. It's a short walk to Machiya station. There's a 7-11 nearby to buy food or withdraw money.

The place was near restaurants. We walked and chose where we ate. The area was quiet the place was not that clean to our standards but it’s okay. There was a washing machine if you want to wash your clothes and you can dry the clothes a small balcony. Nobody at the check in counter all communication were in the iPad. It would be nice if there is an easy way to communicate with somebody like in our case that we extended the check out time. Maybe the iPad at the counter can be used for that reason. But over all it served the purpose we had somewhere to stay.

Thank you the front desk. We managed to keep our room after we decided to stay an extra night. The front desk people were extremely helpful even with the language barrier. Room was clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable.

Easy and quiet
Stayed with our two teenagers. The kitchen and laundry facilities inn the room were very handy. It was really easy to get anywhere in Tokyo on the nearby train line and buses using a welcome suica card., I loved the quiet streets (no car noise in the room!) and being near the river so I could go running in the morning. It was extremely easy to check in and out as it was fully automated with easy to follow instructions.

Very clean, modern and spacious room. Stayed at Minn Machiya for 4 days as our base to see Tokyo. Around 8 min walk from Machiya Station off the main street. Plenty of convenience stores and fast foods on your walk to Minn Machiya apartments.

Booked this hotel because front desk staff was supposed to speak English, but not the case. Our room was on the seventh floor and the elevator only goes to sixth floor. Had to carry heavy suitcases up outdoor staircase in the rain to our room. Room was supposed to have two double beds and a sofa sleeper. No sofa in the room, so two of us had to sleep on floor mat.

Good property. Quiet location. Close -5min walk- to train station. Room was bigger than most. There was enough room for my hubby, myself and 2 kids (11&13) and our luggage. Balcony was added bonus. Reception staff could speak English - some better than others. Would have been nice to have water, tea, coffee, milk in room. McDonald's and local restaurants close.
