Excellent location. Walking distance to town. View from marina on a foggy rainy day is so beautiful. Room is small & dated but this is expected for the age of the hotel. I’m very impressed by the abundance of coffee pods supplied for a 2 nights stay.

We stayed at 6 hotels on Vancouver Island. This hotel was the most expensive and one of our least favorites. There is a water view, but the windows were very dirty. The room was very hot, yet the outside temp was in the high 50's and cloudy. There is no AC and only a small window to open. No screen on the window, so bugs were flying in. Plus the window didn't slide well and would jam so it was a pain to open. Not sure why they wouldn't have fixed this. Some stains on the carpet.

The front desk team went above and beyond with much compassion when my husband experienced a medical emergency. They reached out to me personally to advise me of the status of our room and while at the hospital.

The location was great, although noisy throughout the day. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfy! A couple things to note: there was not enough counter space in the bathroom and you can hear your neighbours above and beside quite clearly.

It didn’t have a microwave and most of the hotels I have been to had microwaves in the room. It’s an old building but newly renovated. If the room had microwave, I think it would be better as there isn’t much dining options here and we wouldve been able to reheat the meals we could not finish from eatjng outsjde.
