I booked a front facing ACCESSIBLE room. The room was front facing but my father who was in a wheelchair had limited access to the bathroom as there was not a lot of room for his chair and absolutely no privacy as door could not be shut as the room was NOT accessible, as booked!

The staff were excellent especially Cheryl but the area isn’t the best but then again I think that’s not uncommon in Timmins. Rooms were ok, tidy and spacious. Would stay here again. Just so few restaurants or even half decent pubs in Timmins. Spent three days there on business. Was more than enough sadly.

Stay was great, excellent service, very clean pool, very good breakfast, room very clean, but the bed and pillows were not comfortable, woke up with a sore back both days, pillows way too floppy.

On arrival after a long drive was disappointing with our room at booking, it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned dog fur on carpet and kleenex. They did give us another room. Someone should be spot checking the rooms.

Centrally located, but there is really nothing to do in the DT core. Poor dining options in the area. The hotel was clean enough, but it’s in declining condition and needs modernizing. Adding a fridge, microwave, and smart TV to the standard rooms would be a good start. The elevator is terribly noisy. The water closet is confined and i needed to stand beside the toilet to shut the door. The shower was cold and took 5 mins to warm up. Staff were decent, but it was about a 1/2hr to check in because they messed up the booking. The hotel has potential but there are better options in the area.

The hotel interior and rooms seem a bit dated and run down. A upgrade is needed soon. I was unfortunate and there was still leftovers in the fridge from the previous guest. The fridge was unplugged and the food “exploded “ in the fridge obviously after standing for too long. I noted this to reception. The plastic knives and forks and other items at breakfast seem wasteful…
