Overall, a nice place and fixtures from the past.Heat not good upstairs in the 1st room they assigned . Switched to basement room. It has good heat but noisy due to exit door and 24 hr. Gym close by. Would like a better deal to stay the 2nd night?

Stayed there for 1 night. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and quite modern, especially the bathroom. Only downside is the parking lot is a bit small but other than that it was solid. Breakfast was actually pretty decent for a hotel.

This is an old Courthouse and looks amazing from the outside and the inside. Now some rating of the good and the bad. Check-in 10/10 The lady at the front desk was amazing and super friendly. Cleanliness of room 8/10 We found sunflower seed shells between the beds, A dime on the windowsill in the bathroom, Kiss marks on the window. All could have been easily seen and cleaned. The room otherwise is super clean I have a blacklight and checked the beds, floors, walls and the bathroom and all came back clean. Cleanliness of property 8.5/10 Garbages over flowing with trash, The ashtray covered with trash, Trash on the ground around the property. Was like this for the 2 days we were there. Breakfast 4/10 Was one of the worst breakfasts we have ever had. Bacon was nasty, Sausages over cooked, French toast was under cooked, No real choices for cold drinks (water or some weird kind of juice) no apple or orange juice or milk, The muffins were hard and stale took one bite and had to spit out. Breakfast ends at 10am and the staff was cleaning and taking stuff away at 9:40 a good 20mins before breakfast ended. Checkout 5/10 The guy checking me out of our stay was very unfriendly. I'm not sure if it was because he was on night shift and was tired or if he was starting his shift and didn't get a good sleep the night before. Never asked how our stay was. Kinda disappointed in his demeanor. All and all I would give the stay a 8.9/10 and I would book the place again.

Everything was amazing and this is one of my favourite hotels, but with the winter, the rooms are not insulated well enough or the heaters don’t work or something because we were FROZEN out. Third floor lake view.

First, there is not a drop off area. Had to walk the very icy parking lot to get to the door. Secondly, welcomed by a not welcoming muslim lady wearing a pro Palestine scarf which made us very uncomfortable. Thirdly, no microwave in the room Icy parking, icy sidewalks and front desk ?!?!?

This property is really nice and in a great location in downtown PA. Walked to a bunch of bars and restaurants and a short walk back to our hotel. The continental breakfast is rather sad.. eggs, sausage, potatoes and some bread and cereal options.. no juice options. Overall a nice stay.. beds were rather soft and hard to sleep on (personal preference!)
