La cocka roacha....
Check-in went very smoothly, with no hiccups. The room looked good overall, not the cleanest but suitable. Checked like I always do for bedbugs, no issues there. Dust clothes were left in the room, and clearly, the vacuum was leaving things behind. The bathroom was clean, but the shower, while nice had dirty grout, filled with mildew. The worst part was the first night, I got up to go to the bathroom at 3:30 am, and across the floor ran a German cockroach. They moved us to a new room, inspected that one, and settled in for the night because everything else was sold out. With that said, there were baby roaches in that room. The property manager wanted to give a 50% refund. I asked for a full refund. He refused and stated that he had to charge a $30/ night cleaning fee plus tax.

I was very impressed with Almond milk (non-dairy) at breakfast - first time I see this at hotel - they should ALL have it! There was also HOT water spout for tea. Most hotels have lukewarm water for tea and preparing instant oats. Would like to see more gluten free options. Good variety of fruit. Lady at front desk very helpful. TV at breakfast area not blaring super loud like some hotels - THANKS! Liked the bathtub - most new hotels only have shower.

The cleanness of the hotel and rooms were not good. My room was not cleaned the sheets have a large stain, someone shoes were left in a chair. Bugs on the floor. I asked for the bed to be changed and the receptionist just give me sheets to change the bed. The following morning woke up to no power.

Comfortable stay
Weren't able to find a room in Valdosta so drove to Thomasville for this BW. Friendly checkin, room was clean and beds comfy. Served it's purpose.
