Ore Station Eight is THE BEST location in Telluride! Guests are a snowball's throw away from the gondola, ski access, historic main street & enough of Telluride's world-class restaurants to keep you well fed. The condo has new wood floors, furniture & appliances. There is an east facing balcony above a quiet green space & access to a large hot tub. Cozy & convenient, the Ore Station Bldg. is a favorite basecamp for guests looking for high-end, high-alpine experience!
Ore Station Eight is light and bright with wood floors throughout and new beds, design elements and furniture throughout. The condo is all one-level with plenty of space to spread out. There is a large entry way with plenty of space for gear. The primary bedroom has a king bed and a private full bathroom. There is a dedicated work station located in the main bedroom along with ample storage and space. The second bedroom has two twinbeds that can be made into a King upon request. The second bedroomhas a full bath with both a private en-suite entrance as well as an entrance from the living room for guests access. There is a well stocked full kitchen with a new stainless steel refrigerator and oven. The dining area has space for four and the adjoining and open living room combine to create a great social space. French doors open out onto an east-facing balcony with great views of Ballard Peak with the gondola station and San Miguel River across the street!

Needs some upgrades.
Unit is in THE perfect location and was quiet. I gave it 3 stars for two reasons. 1. The lighting needs upgrading. We were playing cards at the kitchen table and there is only one dim light over the table. Our bedroom had 2 halogen (!?) lights over the beds, one of which barely worked at all. The other was not bright either. 2. The curtains hang onto the electric baseboard heater and the bed was pushed against the same heater. Not a good idea!

Ore Station 8 condo in Telluride
This property was well maintained and a beautiful place to stay in Telluride , any time of year. It was well appointed with most everything needed for a stay of any duration. Its location was perfect for access to the entire town and across the street from the gondola station for access to Mountain Village.

Perfect homebase for Telluride getaway
My wife and two young children stayed at Ore Station 8 for 5 nights in early June. First, Luke is one of those top shelf hosts who manages his rental as if he has experience in hospitality. A couple of weeks before we arrived he sent us his "guidebook" which can conveniently be added as an app on your phone. It contains all the information you need for your stay including check-in/out process, notes about the condo itself, and some suggestions for things to do in town. It's a nice touch that set the tone for a great stay. After a rather challenging drive (from Denver with 2 under 2 in the car) we arrived to find cold beer and a bottle of red wine waiting for us. Check-in was seamless (see above re. guidebook) and the condo was prepared impeccably for our arrival. The location is outstanding - right in the middle of town and a 2 minute walk to the gondola. Our 2 year old also appreciated the proximity to Town Park. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience and would happily rebook this unit.
