Due to the age of the property there is a small steep open sided staircase and care must be taken when using, a hand rail will help guests to use the stairs. . The Old Toll House is a traditional, detached, country holiday cottage in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge and is ideally placed to explore this world-famous Heritage Site. It sits less than 110 yards from the River Severn and is a short walk from the popular Coalport China Museum, or only a 5-minute drive away from Ironbridge.

This detached holiday cottage benefits from close proximity to a variety of great pubs and restaurants. People who enjoy the outdoor life are spoilt for choice; there is a National Cycle Route 55 yards from the property and cycle hire is available in the close by village of Jackfield. For the more adventurous, canoe hire is available in Ironbridge. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

A weekend visit to Coalport
The property is a nice little cottage in a good location with multiple pubs and restaurants nearby. The main issue that let it down, was cleanliness. There was food debris in the cutlery drawer, and I had to wash the grill pan before I could use it. Bedding was clearly well used and had stains on the covers. Generally, the place could use a deep clean. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and it suited our needs.
Stayed 2 nights in Feb 2023
