The views here are sensational. We requested a room change as our initial room did not have the best view over the jungle the staff were very accommodating. The restaurant food is beautiful I highly recommend the smoothie bowl at breakfast. This is the perfect place to relax it feels secluded and very private but it’s also a great base to go exploring from. They offer a shuttle service to Ubud which is a bonus. We went out on day trips with a private driver and it was a wonderful place to come home to after a day of adventure. The staff are fantastic, I highly recommend the Sanna.

We searched every corner of Bali. As you may have found by now, the options are expansive. Well the hard part is over. Sanna Ubud is undoubtedly & unequivocally your new home. Sanna has it all: ambiance, character, energy, spirit, dedicated staff, views, walkability, cleanliness, amenities, spa (a dramatic understatement), world-class gourmet revolving menus, dinners with cultural shows & music, room service, bidets, shuttles, concierge for activities & excursions throughout all of Bali, points of contacts with the activity vendors, infinity pools w/ built in waterfalls, pools in your villa, mini fridge, hair dryers, robes, slippers, mosquito nets for the beds (not that you will at all use them), rain fall style shower, outdoor stone slab baths in your villa, outdoor patio, CRISP air conditioning, in-room safes, bars, walking paths, buggies to take you around the property, a welcoming ceremony, english-fluent staff to cater to your every whim, and chiefly... the most friendly, loving, caring, generous, selfless, enthusiastic, & professional staff. You need not follow our mistake and attempt to plan everything before you arrive. Your new family at Sanna handles it all. This is our new home away from home. Our stay at Sanna Ubud was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we checked in to when we checked out, they made us feel right at home. The room was cleaned twice and the views were breathtaking. And let me tell you, the spa provided one of the best experiences of my life.

Sanna Ubud - Not the Best Experience
There is a lot I want to like about this place. Food was great, staff were friendly and tried their best and the villa was eco-friendly and surrounded by trees. But here are the main issues which led to a low rating. The water heater did not work in the day and night before we checked out. The receptionist initially said that would be fixed in 2 hours. After 2 hours, it still was not fixed, and we were told not to turn on hot water for 6 hours to allow the water tank to heat up. The next morning, there were still no hot water. Would have been nice to have a hot shower before we left the place. I get it that resorts may sometimes get engineering issues like this, but would be a lot more smarter for the resort to suggest something better than showering in another villa. Also, the drainage in the shower was blocked and water would flood the toilet - this was highlighted to reception but that was never rectified. Our villa was tucked away on a cliff and it took some descent on steep stairs. People who want to make any booking may want to ask how easy it is to get to the villa as it took some effort to get up and down those stairs, and could get tricky during wet weather. Wished there were more warning or disclosure on this during booking. Cleaning was sub par. Felt like staff would just do the bare minimum eg drinking glasses not cleaned, and towels not replaced. We left the resort feeling disappointed overall and unlikely to return. Not A Pretty-mana experience indeed.

It’s literally been one of the best hotel stays I have ever been to. The service is exceptional and the food has been delicious. A Spa visit has to be on your list while staying at Sanna Ubud.

As first-time visitors to Bali, staying at Sanaa Ubud was an unforgettable experience. The property is absolutely stunning—tucked away in the lush greenery of Ubud, it offered a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The rooms were beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with traditional Balinese touches. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Every person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The setting was so tranquil that it felt like a hidden oasis. From the peaceful gardens to the beautiful pool with breathtaking views, everything about the property invited us to unwind and soak in the beauty of Bali. This resort is beyond 5 stars. The property is immaculately well kept, the staff are attentive and will go out of their way to make sure you are happy. No request is too big. The resort is lush, green and at a standard that isn’t seen very much at resorts of any size.

Property is beautiful and staff is very welcoming and friendly. The spa services are amazing. The downside is the rooms and spa are hard to get to due to a broken lift. You have to walk down many flights of stairs to get to the spa and lower rooms. It is not handicap accessible at all. Additionally when we checked in our room was overbooked so they said they “ upgraded” us to a room with a better view of the jungle. However this meant we had to climb down more stairs and the room was smaller than the one we had booked. They offered to switch our room after two nights however it was while we were going out on a tour and we were unable to see the new room/ pack up our belongings. We only had a limited amount of time to choose to move and unfortunately missed them time due to not being at the property.

Leaving Bali, the first thing that came to mind was how much we would miss the people. The warmth and friendliness of both the staff and the locals made our stay truly enriching. Bali was our first stop on our honeymoon, and our only regret is that we couldn’t spend more time here. The lush jungle and the serenity of the property made our stay incredibly special. The presence of wildlife added to the magic of the atmosphere, and the staff did an excellent job ensuring our room remained free of any pests. We highly recommend the spa treatment. I’ve never felt more relaxed, and the setting was as beautiful and peaceful as you could imagine. The food and drinks were equally impressive. The local flavors were delicious, and even the more familiar options were well-executed. The cocktails provided the perfect indulgence. We’re already thinking about when we might return for an anniversary. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and one we will never forget.

We had an excellent stay at this gorgeous adults only hotel. It was romantic , quiet , had chef inspired delicious cuisine , it was all new , gorgeous decor, and best of all with 5 Star Service with a smile . We will 100 % come back and will tell all of our friends about this amazing hotel in Ubud. Oh and don’t miss the spa - it was the best spa & environment I have ever been to ! This is a winner on every level !!!
