Great hotel for one night stay with the elephants!

Pros: Quiet & convenient.
Cons: The room sizes.
Location: We didn't really explore outside of the park.
We stayed here for one night, mainly because there was not much of a difference between the park entrance ticket and one night fare. The hotel restaurant is great! The park is great! It would be great for children as it involves a short elephant tricks show and you can take a ride on the elephant for free around the park! One night is more than enough.

The place is incredible, the staff is very friendly and caring. Unfortunately you can feel the remains of the pandemic. Not all services are available due to the low attendance. The room is nice but for more than 500$ a night we expected better. No hot water we had to call the staff who solved the problem in 30 minutes but again for a hotel of this standing, the staff should have checked before our arrival. Then the sheets are clean but they give off a musty smell, it embalms the whole room it's very unpleasant. I think this is due to the storage of equipment during the pandemic. Indeed the hotel opened just one month ago. The guides in the Park and "elephant drivers" are very nice. In summary, the experience with the elephants is worth the detour. But you should not expect a hotel of incredible standing, at least in the state after the pandemic. We tried to order a special birthday cake for my Gf birthday, unfortunately they told me they were unable to offer this service. But surprise after the diner we received a BD cake, restaurant staff singing. We didn’t have to pay for this

Renovations + Closures

In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
