The person at reception was helpful and attentive. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The aircon was old and rather noisy but it worked and kept us warm through a cold night. It clearly needs upgrading. Despite this, we had a very comfortable stay and definitely recommend this motel.

Friendly manager we were upgraded as our room was still being cleaned due to a cleaner being absent. The deluxe room was large with table,chairs and a couch offering a very comfortable stay

I have stayed at town and country before and it was very clean. However, this time wasn't as clean, the shower needed a good scrub and the mirrors were dirty. I would have liked to give a higher score.

Run down and 3 x overpriced for a long weekend, I wouldn’t pay the usual rate either. Bedding was clean but that’s all going for it. Previous reviewers must have stayed in very average places to give the 4 star rating. Very very basic, shower could do with some repair or upgrade. Noisy 30 year old air conditioner. Cheap coffee, tea and handwash. Appears new owners taken over, perhaps it will improve but I wouldn’t stay again to find out.

Owners were lovely and had only owned the hotel for 3 months. The room desperately needs a make-over. The room was neat, tidy, and clean but did have a stale cigarette smell when you first walked in. The air-conditioner was broken (the owners did try to fix it). Bed was too hard for my liking. Hopefully, new owners will be able to bring some life back into the place.

OK. But could be much better for little outlay.
Old decor but clean. Pillows were woeful. Otherwise the bed was good. Good size TV and comfortable couch. Small table and two chairs in the room were very useful. Shower head needs replacing and Air Conditioner needs servicing.
