I was disappointed with my room and bathroom. The sheets wore stained and the towels were worn and rough. The bath was another issue, the water wouldn't run out of the shower, yuck.

I had my reservation for a King Bedroom and they ended up selling out and could not accommodate my reservation. Front desk said for no “extra charge” he will give us a two queen bed room. I said I mean obviously I had the reservation already booked and ready a week prior. Once we enter the room, the beds had two completely different sheets, one large towel, there was no shampoos, conditioners or body wash. It just was not what the reviews and pictures show at all. Floor was completely cracked, the stone in the washer was also cracked in half. The outdoor part of the property is beautiful and very nice for kids.

We did not stay, we left immediately without checking in. We went to Brandon and checked into a hotel there. We were following local hurricane evacuation orders to leave our home. Oasis Inns & Suites had apparently lost power and when we arrived had no air conditioning or phones. They should not have been open. We are 75 years old with allergies and breathing problems. No way we could stay here. We've been trying to get refund from Expedia ever since, with no luck.

I’ve been a Tampa resident since 1978 retired from construction and know Tampa pretty good. I was reluctant to book here because I’m aware of what local neighbors can be like even though just a block from TPD office.Also I remember it wasn’t such a nice place.Blown away by hurricane came for two nights before power was finally on wish I had booked earlier but like I said old reputation kept me from trying.Blown away by how nice and new the facility is.Will highly recommend for friends and family when they visit in the future.

Very poor hotel stay.
Our room had no trash can. When we called the front desk they said they do not provide trash cans in their rooms but we could come back to the front desk and get a trash bag. The black out screen on the front of the room did not work and there was no draperies to cover the window. We were unable to use the front room after dark with lights on without being totally visible to everyone passing by our window. There were drapes on the window in the bedroom but they did not totally block the window and the light outside the room kept the bedroom lit throughout the night. The thermostat was set at 69 degrees and could not be switched to heat or have the temperature raised to make the room more comfortable. We are seniors and we stayed at this hotel because I had medical procedures the next morning at the nearby VA hospital. I would never book this hotel again.

Two nights out of three we stayed the AC and hot water was out due to the hurricane. We were unable to get a manager the whole time we were there to discuss these things since we got the hotel because our house was out of power. It took getting Hotels.com involved, but they did get us some compensation back. The rooms are very nice and comfortable when AC and Hot Water work.

Excellent place to stay! We evacuated to here during hurricane Milton and the staff/owners were extremely accommodating and understanding of everyone’s life or death situations when we showed up with “undocumented” pets. No questions were asked and they opened their doors wide open for everyone. Rooms were clean, property was very well maintained, and there was even still breakfast the morning after the hurricane which we were NOT expecting in the slightest. You will no be disappointed if you stay here, and they will forever have my business if I ever need a room in Tampa again!

I want to start by stating the only reason for my stay was I am a survivor of National Disaster Hurricane Milton and my power has been off since 10/9 so six days now. I just wanted a nice relaxing hot shower. So upon checking in after the allotted check in time I still had to wait an hour for them to clean the room I needed. No big deal I'm disabled so I need the first floor handicap room. After waiting I entered my room to an undesirable ammonia smell. Ok, nothing a little febreeze can't help right? They probably use a cleaning product my nose doesn't agree with but not the end of the world so I digress. The balcony door is janky and off track but I get it to open. Again no big deal I'm just looking forward to this hot shower awaiting me. So I get my stuff all set down and decide before I get comfortable let me run to the store for some essentials that I'll need so I don't have to go back out. Ok done. I get back to the room and there again put my stuff down go to wash my hands and the sink doesn't drain. Ok I'm not going to say anything because I have the only handicap room available left. Moving on. I go to get in the shower and see it has a built in seat and the double shower heads so you can still bathe while sitting. Ahhh just what I need, so I'm excited! Only to be disappointed that there is no hot water. Front desk says they're working on it, give them some time because the whole hotel is out. Hours later still nothing. Now it's the next morning still no hot water!!!
