A great hotel except parking
Went for a concert and stayed here. It’s very close to the arena, walking distance. They serve one of the best hotel breakfast. Only thing we didn’t care for was over $50 with tip for overnight parking.

75 credit a scam
I didn’t like that fact that 75 .00 was credit to my bill for me to use at Starbucks or to rent a bike or use at restaurant at hotel I didn’t use anyone of them so that 75 of my money it wasn’t a credit from the hotel that’s a scam and I don’t like it

Im usually pleased with Embassy but this hotel is a below average spot. For starters the vallet is horrible especially for 42$ nightly it takes on average over 15 minutes for veh. To be brought and only 1 luggae cart with flat tires for the whole building is not good. Second the room and hotel are over done with fragrances so you cant sleep or breath half the time. 3rd the room beds are not comfortable and we did not have a door hanger for room service or a working iron which we needed. Aside from this location is good but 200+ a night is not worth it.

Biggest beef.... We couldn't take a hot shower in the morning. the water was warm; barely. Room was not the cleanest, fingerprints everywhere. They claimed to be shorthanded, but they didn't say shorthanded everywhere! This was the week before Christmas; not the time to be shorthanded. The hotel, which is huge appeared to be sold out with multiple events going on.

From check-in to the time we left unfortunately we had issues. When we arrived to get our keys for a reservation that had been booked months in advance and allowed us to do the check-in on the app and select our room, we were told that they overbooked and didn’t have a room for us. I advised that we were from out of town and she just said I know. After arguing with the front desk for about 10 minutes the manager finally got involved and found a room that had been checked out for maintenance and got us that room. The lack of customer service was ridiculous though. That was unfortunately, just the start. The staff was rude during the breakfast buffet. Then, as we were to leave, the valet couldn’t find our car and when they finally did, they parked the car clear across the parking garage, expecting us to walk with our luggage across the parking garage. It seemed at every turn during this trip, the hotel staff did not care about the guests experience. We’ve stayed there several times and normally don’t have these issues so I don’t know if the staff is just overworked or overwhelmed by the events that go on downtown, but something needs to be done.
