Amazing B&B with the kindest Inn Keepers Scott and Cathy. Very comfy rooms with alot of history. Very quaint. Restaurant on sight with amazing food prepared by Cathy. Ghost tours and some great stories to boot. Highly recommend

The property is gorgeous the food delicious and the couple that own the property are very friendly. The home is very old and Scott, the owner is happy to share stories of the friendly ghosts he's encountered. We weren't so fortunate but we plan on returning soon.

Awesome host and hostess
Excellent meals. Mahi mahi and ravioli. Dessert was excellent also. Oreo cake. The host and hostess were kind , welcoming, flexible with our dinner reservation The bed was comfortable however in the carousel room there is a lot of road noise so if you’re a light sleeper beware. Overall excellent stay. Our first b&b experience.

Delicious rib eye steak dinner and breakfast. Room was very clean but a bit noisy due to street traffic at night. This is an historic home and not sound proof from adjacent room. Overall a pleasant stay and a new experience for us.

What a Stay!!!
What can I not say about the amazing B&B and the wonderful couple that own it. We opted for the tour which is worth its weight in gold. Scotty is so funny and Cathy is an amazing cook. This place is filled with such charm.

The hosts of the Daffodale house were wonderful. We took the trip to Monticello Florida because we come from Monticello New York. Imagine our surprise when the host was familiar with our Monticello.btge room was quirky and comfortable. The food both dinner and breakfast outstanding. Cathy is a marvelous cookb. I had mahi mahi, my husband the rub eye sreah both cooked to perfection and more than enough.bsvott entained us with his stories of our Sullivan county in New York.bbithvscottvand Cathy were great and very hospitable. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone in the area and even to make a special trip to see the place. you won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed the entire experience
The Carriage House is the most eccentric , adorable place you’ll ever find. And it includes all you need, a small kitchen, a huge comfortable bed, desk and more. It’s totally private- the house is s shirt walk from the parking lot and main guest house/restaurant. We hope to stay there again!

A spooky and extraordinary experience! The daffodale house is a house everyone should visit and experience. The house has an amazing collection of unique and old things that each have their own story. Ghosts are attached to this house and if ur lucky, maybe u will see them! The outside area is very beautiful with cozy decorations and statues. There are many cute cats and kittens and also a small bamboo forest outside, that makes this place one of a kind! Food and wine is also excellent, thanks Kathy!

What a great stay! Kathy and Scotty are amazing. The decor in the sleeping room made the stay fun as the house is loaded with interning memorabilia and antiques. Kathy’s meals were absolutely delicious!

This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in, the owners made it feel like I was staying over at my parents’ place. I’m deeply touched by their kindness and the place is extremely elegant & very clean. The breakfast was excellent too. I will come back for sure!

The property is a throwback to a long ago era. Scott and Kathy, who, by the way, are exceptional hosts, have managed to keep the character of the old house intact, with vintage furniture and decor throughout the house and garden, original plumbing fixtures that work amazingly well, and last but not least, wonderful home cooked meals prepared by the talented Chef Kathy. Don’t forget to pick up a copy of her cookbook while you’re there. This is a far cry from the modern push button world that we’ve grown accustomed to, but if you want to experience what an affluent lifestyle was like during your great grandparents heyday, this is a great opportunity to do just that. One night with Scott and Kathy and you’ll feel like you’re coming home to family. I’m sure you’ll feel the same.
