The hotel is absolutely beautiful and very convenient as we could walk less than five minutes from the train station. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. The hotel is beautiful inside and the huge bonus is that they also have a onsen which was welcoming at the end of each day. Breakfast was delicious and you could rent a motorized assisted bicycle for ¥500 for an hour or ¥1000 for three hours… it was amazing to do this and explore the city on the bikes. A big thank you to all the staff.

Everything was good. Female receptionists were very professional, friendly and competent in English language. Not much I can say about the men. One tall man in particular at the restaurant was not helpful and we felt unwelcome. Too bad…

Very convenient location. Right next to the train station. Room is clean and spacious too. We also love that they had a lounge and we enjoyed some coffee, sake and biscuits during our stay! All four of us love it!

A very nice decently sized room compared to other hotels in Japan. The rooms were clean, amenities were adequate and location is perfect. The price though is on the higher side but considering the size of the room, I would say its still very acceptable. Walking distance to Takayama station, the Nohi bus center, and even to the Takayama old street or shopping district. You can also rent a bike from them.

We are SO glad we decided to stay at this property. It was unbelievable in every aspect. We were able to walk to old town and had so many options for food. We drove and parking at the hotel was a breeze. It is also conveniently located to the train and bus stations! We also loved the sento. STAFF are amazing!
