Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Tango Inn Taipei ZhongShan. The service was impeccable. The room was cleaned and serviced very well. However, the room size was very small, the light switches were finicky, and our shower flooded the bathroom floors. The hotel is also located within walking distance of Taipei Main Station and several bus stops, but you will need to catch a ride or walk a long distance to reach notable destinations.

It’s a boutique hotel with convenient location. There was a construction right in front of the hotel entrance where traveler with luggage has to be aware of. Pro 1. Check in process is efficient and front desk staff is helpful 2. It’s a 15 min walk from Taipei station through underground 3. Mattress is good Con 1. I stayed in 2 rooms, one with bathtub and one with balcony. No view from balcony, so recommend to choose room with bathtub instead. 2. Hallway is dark with bad smell 3. Lighting in the room is limited
