A Must Stay kinda place
We loved this place. It worked well for my daughters wedding and the multiple family members that came and went from town. Host went above and beyond for us. We needed to check in early and then extended it for an additional day. Annie was so accommodating. 10+++ starts for this property and for the host!!!

Charming Home with Amazing View
Our stay at this location was wonderful. We had ten adults who were able to have a bedroom. The bathrooms were enough for us all to share. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean. We spent one week in this location and it was as described in the details. The house was very clean and had all amenities that we needed. The view of the Sound is amazing. Loved having binoculars to look for whales. Ann was quick to respond before our stay with questions I had. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable!

Room for the whole family.
This property was so nice. The whole family came for our daughter’s graduation. There is room for everyone. We had 11 adults and a four year old and four cars (with room for at least two more). Grocery stores were very close by as well as restaurants and coffee shop. If you plan to do any cooking and have left overs, you may need foil, plastic wrap, or ziplocs. The coffee grinder and coffee pot were A+. We replaced a few skillets that were at the end of their life and were reimbursed!

Great Stay Over the Holidays
The pictures of the house were great and it didn't disappoint in real life. My family and I had a great time. Our host was excellent - great communication. Very clean, great neighborhood. There were 9 of us and it fit us very comfortably. We were able to walk to a few restaurants and bars. Museums nearby (a short drive). Overall a great stay. We'd definitely recommend this place and would stay there again. Total thumbs up!

Our family enjoyed our fall visit to the Pacific Northwest. Beautiful views from a historic location. The owners were so easy to work with and shared plenty of helpful tips. Be sure to budget time for coffee on the porch each morning - it’s just breathtaking.

Incredible family home with an amazing view
We had such a wonderful time staying at 106 Orchard. There were 7 of us including an infant and a 4 year old. We all loved having coffee on the porch every morning watching the ships go by. You can even see the top of Rainier on a clear day! The host, Annie, was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs. Check in and checkout were smooth and easy. We really cannot say enough great things about this home and we hope to return in the future. One small thing— the train is pretty loud in the mornings so I’d recommend running the fan or bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

It’s the view!
We were in Tacoma for a family wedding. We filled most rooms with family, and had a couple of friends of the bride use the extras. It was big enough for everyone to have space. We had a small party after the rehearsal, and all sat on the downstairs balcony to watch the city, the bay and the mountains. The kitchen was well-appointed (we never cooked a dinner), and filled all our needs. We racked our brains to see if there was anything negative about the house, and didn’t think of any. But it’s the view that makes the house; if I returned for another week, I’d plan some mornings and evenings to just sit on one of the balconies and watch Old Town and Commencement Bay. We saw an eagle, a sailing regatta, cargo ships, and even had a couple of Ranier sightings. Can’t recommend the house strongly enough!

Family Home with Beautiful View
Our extended family came to Tacoma from around the country to spend time together. This home was perfect for enjoying one another's company and the beautiful scenery. With two decks, we enjoyed the picturesque views of Puget Sound and Commencement Bay, and loved watching a nesting bald eagle. The house itself was well appointed and the bedrooms were roomy. It got a little hot in July without AC, but open windows created a good breeze at night. There is a second unit in the basement of the house, but outside of the car, we heard or saw nothing. Annie, the property owner/manager, could not have been more responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She was great to work with!

The view was spectacular and near Tacoma’s best attractions
Home has character, so not a new home but fully updated with new appliances, carpet, etc. Bring binoculars to view the activity in harbor from the balconies or porch or many windows. Owner has a book with their own favorite things to do, or call owner who is happy to answer any questions or give up-to-date feedback.

Tacoma house with view of harbor
This house was perfect. Stunning views of the harbor, comfortably furnished and well-stocked kitchen; it is everything you could look for in a vacation rental. Conveniently located near shops, restaurants and grocery stores, and Annie is the best owner to date we’ve worked with. She answered all our questions and went above and beyond when my niece and nephew locked us out of the house. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer house or better location. Would come back and stay again. Loved Tacoma, Seattle and Mt Ranier national park, and this house is convenient to visiting all of that. All around wonderful!!
