I have stayed in many hotels. Nothing has been as bad as this one. The only thing that could have made it worse would have been bed bugs. It took over 30 minutes to check in. Person behind me had been trying for over an hour and left her spot in line. The loby was full of damage showcasing how run down the place is. Getting into my room was challenging. The card key only worked after 20 or so attempts. Opening the door I was met with potent cleaning chemical smell. Flooring was cracked damaged from I assume water damage. I had to walk around in shoes as to not hurt or injur my feet. Bathroom had dirt in the corner, walls had dents and mucus smeared on it. Bathtub was missing a plug, so a hot bath was out of the question. I was exhausted from driving for 13 hours so I wasnt about to cancel my reservation and attempt to get money back. Calling the dront desk would have been futile. The whole time I was checking in they ignored calles. The one they did answer they said they would look at it in the morning but they cant do anything about it. I notified the staff of my frustrations rhe next day and they did nothing. This is not what I have come to expect from a Wyndham property. I will not be ever coming back and I will have second thoughts on using Wyndham/days inn ever again.

The reservation was mixed up with another person’s name, and most importantly, access was given to a room that was occupied. Next, the room given had spiders crawling on the ceiling, mold in the bathroom, no toilet paper, dirty carpet, and a strong smelt of cigarettes. Finally, the customer service is not extended with courtesy.

Our room was terrible and the customer service was awful as well. We had only one bath towel and 2 wash rags for 4 people, we were told they were out and would get some the next day, the next day same excuse, they ran out of towels. Air conditioner didn’t work properly. When i brought it up, i was told the owners would be back tomorrow. But the owner or manager was always unavailable.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times before. I knew what I was getting into. Generally it is clean. The property is not kept up as good as it should be, but for the most part clean. This particular stay, I stayed for two nights. The front desk staff was a little rude, but I chalked that up to a little language barrier. On the way to the room, it smelled a lot like pee outside the room. The door appeared to have pry marks. Once in the room there was not the safety lock on the door, the smoke detector was chirping from a dead battery and there was no remote in the room. I went back to the front desk, he said he would be there in 10 mins to fix the smoke detector. Over an hour later, I went back to the front desk. He finally came to the room with a remote and the wrong size batteries. The remote ended up not working and he merely removed the batteries from the smoke detector and put it back in. The chirping stopped while he was in the room. He said he was going to come back with a new working remote, but never did. The chirping started back up again at about 5 am. The next evening when returning to the room, my key did not work. I went back to the front desk to report all the things over again and get a new key. The key was fixed, he said she was going to come fix the smoke detector (never did) and didn’t know where the new remote was. I also asked for more towels, which he did not have. Bad experience and no offer of compensation.

I was very disappointed. We had a two night stay and checked out early. There were unexpected taxes and fees in addition to the advertised price (nearly $200) I have over $500 dollars pending on my credit card for a 2 night stay!! The condition of the property was rundown, and we felt unsafe. A man was loitering out side our room, really creepy.

Honestly I was very upset my first night in. The room felt dirty, the lamps had plastic still on them, cracked tile in the bathroom, caulking around the toilet and tub were in very poor condition, there was no breakfast provided, the option was prepackaged Danishes that I could buy from the store, and to top it off someone let my dog out of the room while I was gone, he went missing and I had to stay longer to search for him in the surrounding areas.

Prior to the trip I had contacted the hotel requesting to add a name to the reservation, multiple times the staff member hung up on me or would not let me finish reading the confirmation number before cutting me off and saying he did not see my reservation. During the stay when going down to the office the workers at the desk would ignore the phones and guests while having personal conversations and would not assist guests until their conversation ended

DON'T GO HERE IF YOU WANT COMFORT
This place seems like a flop house. People hanging out on the walkways drinking and laundry hanging on the handrails of the upper walkways. When I checked in the lady was rude and acted like I was inconveniencing her when I asked for a second room key. They then charged another $100 deposit befor I could check in . In the room there were no soaps to shower with. The beds had a plastic sheet on them so it was uncomfortable to sleep. It eas loud most of the night outside. I would not recomwnd this place to anyone.

The worst stay at any hotel that I have ever stayed at. I checked in at about 3:30pm on Monday 7/29/24 many holes in the walls where the old pictures had been. There was not any Kleenex, hand soap or bath soap. I went to the front desk and spoke to the manager Mandeep Rao, he gave me a box of tissue and was told he was sorry but they did not have any bar soap that they would have some the next day and I just can use the shampoo to wash my hands with and take a shower. The next day on Tuesday my wife and I went to the office for the advertised free breakfast only to find watered down coffee, Kirkland chocolate chip Soft and Chewy granola bars and small packages of cinnamon horns that they considered breakfast. And housekeeping still had no bars of soap. When we returned to the room around 4:00pm after being gone all day we found our room the way that we left it as it had not been cleaned. We went the office and was told by the manager that the housekeeper had left for the day sorry that your room was not cleaned, and that they still did not have any bar soap so he gave me a hand full of packets of shampoo to wash with. I asked for some clean towels and was again told sorry but they don’t have any of those either. Wyndham Hotels you should be ashamed of your “Days Inn Lakewood South Tacoma “ property. And Travelocity-Expedia you need to remove it from your website.

This place is a SCAM filthy and looks like a hot spot for junkies. Broken door locks, clogged sinks, dirty everywhere. They also charge you without your consent so keep an eye out. They blame it’s their new hired but it’s a shady business and should be avoided no matter what.
