I asked the hotel to push two double beds together because my kids aren’t used to sleeping in beds without guardrails, and I was worried they might fall off. At first, they said it wasn’t possible. But I’d stayed at this hotel two years ago, and they did it for me back then, which was one of the reasons I booked here again. When I explained that, they called the manager. After I explained again, the manager still said no. I told them I couldn’t understand why, and eventually, they assigned us a room. The room they gave us was tiny, with no bathtub—just a shower. The bathroom tiles were old and had mold in several places. I felt like I was staying in a motel rather than a 5-star hotel. The next morning, I found a letter telling me to come and pay the outstanding balance immediately. This completely ruined my mood. Why was I being pressured to pay when I hadn’t even checked out yet? Apart from the good location, this was the worst stay I’ve ever had. Honestly, if you’re considering staying here, the InterContinental nearby offers much better service and cleaner rooms in a similar location.

Great location and accomodating staff. Parking is over $100 a night and parking staff are a little slow so use the Wilson parking or use public transportation. Tram stop is close by aa well as the dock for ferries and cruises.

Terrible service
The location is great and the room is spacious. But the bathroom is way outdated and rusty. The bed is too worn-out and hurt my back. The maid service was terrible. Both days, the maid did not refile teh coffee and tea supplies. We ate pastry on the glass round table and dropped crumbs on the carpet. For both days, the maids did not clear the table and vacuum the carpet. On the 2nd day, we went back to our room near 5pm, the maid was still clenaing our room. She did not refile 2 bottles of water and mouth wash, didn't clean the 2 glass cups. On the 3rd day, the kleenex box was run out, but the maid did not give us a new box. And she did not clean the 2 tea cup and the 2 glass cups. I feel these maids just got hired and did not get any training for the job. In the morning of 4th day, we went back to hotel at 10am and our check out time was 11am. But we could not open our room door anymore. Somehow, the hotel system has checked us out. We had to go downstairs to get new keys. These terrible service is below motel level and this is a 5 star hotel. Very dispointed!

Had to find my own bags, shower was dirty. Vent falli g out of ceiling in bathroom. Had tea and got half a chicken for $35 nothing else with it, i sent it back as the chicken was raw.
