I loved the convenient location for transport to all parts of the city; the staff were great-very kind and helpful. Great value for two sharing a room with ensuite. Took me a while to acquaint myself with the procedures for self-cooking, food storage etc in the communal kitchen and dining rooms, but people were helpful. Bed was really comfortable. No complaints!

Nice just for backpackers
This is a nice place for backpackers with good kitchen facility. However it is not a normal hotel. The room condition was too poor. Too noisy all over nights, no table or shampoo. I paid $8 for leaving luggages for 5hrs. It is worth no more than $90 per night.

Quality basic, cheap accomodation in city centre. Very comfortable bed. Clean, secure room with good basic amenities including own shower with hot water, TV, kettle and tea/ coffee/ generous milk supply. Very well located, close to Central Station with inhouse community kitchen/ laundry and good value restaurant next door. Staff helpful.

Good ideas but access to kitchen, how to use the card in the lifts and easy access to working laundry all caused problems. Good value and will be far easier to navigate in the unlikely event I stay again.

Good location and convenience to everything
Check-in was quick and easy. Very clean in the whole building. Renovation is still underway in some area but did not affect my stay. Two things that I have come across. First one is that I was inside the same lift with an extremely smelly man (not shower for few days). I hope he was not staying in shared dome room. Secondly, minor urine smell coming out from a number of toilet bowls on 6th floor.

Fabulous location just next door to Sydney's city centre train station and transportation hub. Very convenient as a base for arriving late or leaving early. We had an ensuite room but shared bathroom and dormitory style also available. Breakfast was a little overpriced.

Decent hostel
Average hostel that’s pretty clean and comfortable. Some grime in the bathrooms - but I dare you to find me a hostel where that’s not also true. The big selling point here is the location - literally right next to Central Station (1 minute walk). Perfect for getting a ride to/from the airport, the blue mountains, or even up to Brisbane or down to Melbourne. Literally every transport option leaves from there. The hostel is big and accepts guests of all ages, so you have to wander the property a bit to meet people. There’s a great cafe next door (InCafe) with good coffee and the cheapest happy hour in the city - $6 pints 👍 Overall, I’d recommend this place
