We chose a mountain view room & had a wonderful view of the mountains. Nigel was great, he gave us good advice & was fun to talk to. Location was good - a short walk to Katoomba main street. The hotel had an outdoor veranda where you could have a drink & take in the amazing views.

Overall ok not 4.5 stars A bit run down, furniture in the rooms don’t match the decor. Bathrooms very old fashioned and of need of repair. Air conditioner was very noisy so couldn’t have it on overnight.

Beautiful old style classic hotel with great views of the Blue mountains. The hotel is a bit dated but that added to its character. Very friendly staff and great service. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely come back

Relaxing hotel with excellent service and very comfortable rooms. Good dining (book your breakfast when you book your room for a better price). Sociable bar and convenient car park. Lots of stairs internally so ask for a room on reception level if you have dodgy knees!
