The Space:
You walk through the leafy green court yard and enter through the front door to find an open plan living space flowing on to a kitchen.
The Kitchen has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Dishwasher, cooktop, oven toaster, microwave and all the essentials.
You then go up the stairs to the large main bedroom which has a queen side bed. The second bedroom also has a queen side bed. The bathroom is also upstairs.
There is an internal laundry with washer and dryer and also a hanging rack.
Guest Access:
Guests are most welcome to enjoy the property.
For security purposes, check-in details will be emailed to confirmed guests 2 days before arrival for an easy smooth fast check-in. Kindly make sure you have submitted the security form with all the valid ID's of all adult guests staying so that you receive a seamless check-in experience :)
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is situated in a quiet leafy green part of Camperdown. There are coffee shops just around the corner in both directions. Camperdown park is a short walk away.
Camperdown has been identified as one of Sydney’s 10 hippest neighbourhoods, with its urban edgy feel, terraced workers cottages, and factory apartment conversions. It is the beating heart of inner-western Sydney; walking distance from much of what the area has to offer.
Here are a few of Camperdown’s local destinations; Camperdown Commons – a community hub with restaurant, café, community garden, Deus Ex Machina Motorcycles – with a bar/ kitchen famous for its burgers and steaks, Frank’s Pizza – reminding you of Italian eateries from your childhood, and Camperdown Cellars – sporting a fabulous wine selection.
Head south to bohemian King Street in Newtown to be in the centre of eclectic shops and cafes, pubs and bars, and live music venues, including the iconic Enmore Theatre.
Head north and you are in Glebe, where there is a famous weekly market, as well as a range of bakeries, boutique stores and bookshops.
Getting Around:
Newtown train station is a 10 minute walk away. The bus stop travelling into the city is a 2 mins walk.
Other Things to Note:
All guest are required to complete an online insurance / security form. This step involves uploading an ID and a selfie holding the ID to verify the booking details. For the home owners security, only guests who are listed on the security form are allowed access to the property.
Australia is a tropical country, from time to time you may see bugs, spiders and insects, mostly harmless. We don't accept cancellations on the above but are at your disposal should you need any assistance. We regularly fumigate the property to prevent unwanted pests.
There is also a building boom going on through out Sydney we don't refund for construction noise if anything is going on in the neighbourhood however if there is works being done next door or in the same building we will have a note in our summary.
There is a non refundable 4.5% charge when you pay with a credit/debit card. All guests are required to complete an online insurance / security form before checking in. This step involves uploading an ID and a selfie to verify the booking details. Service fee is non refundable when booking is cancelled. Lost keys or keys not returned to the lockbox is a call out fee of $350. And $1000 for smoking.
Please note: Vaping within the unit is strictly prohibited. Please be aware that fire detectors will be triggered by the use of vapes. Any associated call-out fees for fire alarm activation will be billed to you.
