Our stay was great. The place is well maintained and staff were lovely. The montville inn building itself is absolutely beautiful.

Stayed here for a night for a girls weekend away. The property is very dated but kind of fits in with the aesthetic of Montville. Having said it was dated, it was still very clean and comfortable and check in was easy and super friendly. Loved the on-site parking and, how we could just walk to anywhere we wanted to go including all the shops and restaurants, cafes. Would recommend this place to others for and comfort. Suitable for families and couples.

Top of the town
Our room was tucked away from main road with balcony overlooking bush and sunset. For those that dont know Montville is hilly including the driveway at Inn. Rooms beside road are flat so if you dont have a bit of mountain goat in you request them. Back rooms are like a little secret surprise.

Good location to explore Montville. Smart TV in room and good kitchenette. Rooms are older and musty - walls are quite thin and can hear the people next to you. You get what you pay for!

It was lovely and peaceful, the management couldn't have been more helpful. The only problem I had was the shower, which was great once I was in, but it was in a spa with high walls, and I have just had a knee replacement, so struggled to get in, and there was no rails in the shower to hold on to. I was very happy with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We arrived to a very friendly greeting from a lovely lady. Unfortunately it was raining but we were determined to make the most of our little weekend getaway. As we opened the door and walked in, we both noticed a musty smell in the room. We turned the lights on but it seemed to make no difference. The room was very dark. We enjoyed a drink before dinner at the Montville Bar and Grill conveniently located next door. The food was so good we decided to book a table for the following evening. The staff there were also fantastic. We tried to watch a movie in our room after dinner, but the TV kept dropping out. Our bed was very comfortable and clean. Our shower was hot but hard to keep at the correct temperature. We had a fabulous stay in the area , finding lots to keep us busy. The property is in need of renovation, and some brighter globes. Our cold water tap in the ensuite needed a new washer. Convenient location. Thank you to our lovely hosts.
